Probably Mage with Arcane Warrior specialization. Race really doesn't matter. You end up being nearly invulnerable and you can still pick up ludicrously powered spells.

Race really doesn't matter. It's just a very minor stat boost either way.

I would pick dwarf noble over dwarf commoner as my rogue. I'm assuming you're doing a naked companion solo run so you don't really need to be stealing. Gets you combat training this way.

Elf Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage

Soloing is kind of wierd, it's hard at first, but with every solo build you reach a point where it's easier to solo than play with a party.  For me at least.

I find playing a duo without potions is more fun then a solo with potions. Solo without potions would be impossible for me at some areas.

A dwarf is the best race for a non-mage character.

Best in terms of ease: AW/BM

Best in terms of challenge: Warrior Archer

I think it's slightly ludicrous that you would claim anything in this game is impossible.

Especially because people HAVE solo'd with a cun rogue. Hate people who say stuff like that with no justification.

I don't get how anyone could solo the game at all. I barely make it  with my party on Casual when the heat is turned up. And certainly not on Normal, which I am currently trying. I have a Dwarf Commoner Rogue and I spent most of Sunday reloading the game because my person and/or 50% of party kept dying.

Sry, my bad. Soloing for me means nightmare/nopotions. I would like see any wideo of staby cun rogue soloing lets say Broodmother/Highdragon (nopotions, nightmare). Easy mode can be soloed even with mage using staff autoattack so its no point for me.

2Wournos: "dead" party members (involving PC) stand up after battle and get 1 injury (curable by kits or at camp) but atleast 1 party member must survive battle.

There's two other important reasons to play as a dwarf noble. If you wear the superior dwarven guard armor, and studded helmet together it's unlikely anything in the Korcari Wilds/Tower of Ishal will be able to stun you, or knock you down.

Secondly, you can leave the dwarf noble origin with 40+ gold. Which is a huge help.
