 Is it just me or is the Tempest superior to the Shiruken in every way? Almost every other weapon I've seen isn't designed so much as an "upgrade" to replace the previous weapon as it is an option that functions noticeably different than the other (Avenger AR & Vindicator BR is a good example).

As near as I can tell the Tempest has greater ammo capacity, firing rate (and thus damage), as well as accuracy, does the Shiruken have anything going for it that makes it a "unique" option that is in some aspect more useful than the Tempest?

So far as i know the Shuriken is the Vindicator BR equivalent for people who don't pick up ARs as a bonus talent. It's considerably more accurate then the Tempest, but that can be done away with by burst firing the Tempest. According to a weapon compairison on GameFAQs, the Shuriken does more damage then the Tempest but sence the Tempest is basicly a hail of bullet-y death, who cares?

Interesting, I must just be one of the weirdos who burst fires automatic weapons because I could have swore my crosshairs stayed more compact with the Tempest.

Shuriken has the higher rate of fire and stronger bullets, but its burst-fire. The recoil is high even when shooting those three bullets >.>;

I could never get used to the Shuriken. I was so happy when I found the Tempest and it felt really good.

I actually find the Shuriken better then Tempest. I think it makes sense in theory as well. Posted about it earlyer, let's see if I remember it right.

The the Shuriken can fire fullauto without a delay as long as you keep clicking, it also spreads less, or at least seems to. It also has greater punch per bullet, and will give you better damage over the same time interval as long as you don't have to reload.

Where is the shuriken? I only had the first submachine gun and the tempest. Unless shuriken is the name of the first one and I completely ignored it...

I can never get it to fire full auto no matter how many times i press the trigger. maybe its different on pc.

Oh yeah the tempest is far better if the shuriken is the first.

is there a third sub machine gun after you upgrade your weapon at the collector base? i played thru as a vanguard so i was able to get a claymore shotgun.

Shruiken has more DPS, Tempest fires faster and so is better versus shields.

We really need a accurate SMG with less firepower.

I hate the Tempest because it sprays 5 rounds at once and its looks are horrible.

Really the ugliest weapon in the game...

Im amazed, with the tempest as long as Im in cover and leaning out to the side, I never miss with it. And sense I pumped all my upgrades into it, I take out like 3 guys in one clip. I love it so lol.

There is no third SMG like the Claymore Shotgun or Widow Sniper Rifle, no... sadly.
