She hits uncanny valley pretty hard. They modeled her 'too exactly' and so she has a 'more human' face than the others, but the graphics engine/technology isn't there to render it perfectly, so we end up with her face looking a bit lumpy and weird at certain angles/in certain lighting.

I just place Yvonne's face over the creepy near approximation in my mind, however, and all is good.

I agree with several others that while the character is attractive, she did hit the uncanny valley face first. She's a dead ringer for the real Yvonne, almost to much so.

Here is the problem: Most of us have seen Yvonne, either on TV or a movie or a commercial, so somewhere in the back of our minds we are thinking "What the hell.. I know this person but somethings not right"
Where as the model for Default Shepard is not known that well and we are much more willing to accept him. Im sure people who knew of him before the game probably were like "Man this is so weird, he looks 'off'.

And Miranda is not the only one suffering from this. They made Zaeed WAY to realistic looking, He actually kinda freaks me out. I wish I had a helmet toggle for him.... I keep staring at his bad eye...

I think she should have been made as an amorphous blob, a bit like jelly. That way there is nothing to like or dislike about her, but she remains delicious.

Honestly though, it's just one of those things, you can't ask to make her "prettier" when it's such a subjective idea to consider. She does have a slightly odd face though.

(it would be hilarious to see grow her hair and wear other kind of clothing in the next game if you did the paragon romance thing, I can already hear ppl damning themselves for being dicks to her in the first game)

*Edit: as for making her prettier? She's fine the way she is. She's not perfect, even if she was designed to be. If she was flawless in her beauty though it'd be too unrealistic. Too fake. Even right now, if it weren't for the backstory of her being genetically engineered I'd think Miranda looks too good to be true. It was good that Bioware provided the genetic altering history.

Agreed. She's cool as hell and very pretty.

I also really like how her breasts were actually realistic for her body. Smallish ***s = win.
