And stop using exaggerations. Miranda doesn't think she's the hottest thing since bakery fresh cinnamon rolls. She talks about it if you talk to her, but she doesn't walk around like a ****ing queen, she doesn't put herself above other people...yeesh.

That's an understatement and you know it.  She has got to be the ugliest 'perfect' being ever known to man (and women.)  She is an insult to attractive women everywhere.

About Miranda .... Seeing how her character has already been introduced, they can do little to change her face.  The best Bioware can do, at this point, is to create women that are much more attractive in the future installments.

Yeah, animation on the mouth is exaggerated. It opens wider than it should and too much teeth exposed.

the video is three years old, I wasn't saying it was flawless, and if you were capable of reading I said it was a "step in the right direction"

Miranda looks pretty only on Tuesday, i.e. at certain angles and lighting she looks ok. Considering she was modeled after a living goddess Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda should look a lot better. And if they gave her Yvonne's ass, that would be a win, but instead they went with Massive Ass Effect.

Different strokes for different folks. Yvonne is a very attractive woman. (and I'm not that attracted to blondes) Unfortunately, she isn't endowed with big backside. But she is certainly doable.

As far as Miranda's facial attractiveness goes, her face is a solid rendering of  Yvonne's. The biggest problems generally with faces in ME2 are with facial expressions. For the most part they are hit or miss. Looks of disgust/anger and smirking were well done but smiling looked odd.

I like the way Miranda looks, but I do think her jaw is bit too prominent. Yvonne Strahovski does have a rather square jaw (which looks great on her, for the record), but on Miranda it seems exaggerated.

I wouldn't quite call Miranda ugly. But I do have to say that she has some serious uncanny valley going on. So does the default male Shep, sometimes. I'd wonder if it was a standard thing for models based on real-life faces, but Samara is also based on a real-life face and I've never noticed any uncanny valley with her.



...maybe it's only with *humans* based on real faces? Because we're willing to accept more "strangeness" with aliens?



(Anyway, standard disclaimer: Yvonne is beautiful. It's just Miranda who looks a bit odd.)

She is very beautiful but not perfect. No one is. Actually... many of the women in the game do have the same blank, perfectly symmetrical faces... and I find that boring. Bravo for making someone "realistic". Ironic though given her genetics...

It's the cosmetics that make her so.  The Chuck has got to be the dumbest show I've seen since primary school.  Josh Schwartz has got to stop trying to convince people that everyone is 'beautiful', that (secure) women are attracted to dorks, and that copying off of asian dramas is below the radar.

If you're curious you can compare her face with an average face and see that her proportions are off. Not that off proportions can't work. Some really beautiful faces are a little off but with Miranda's it becomes weird.

edit: sorry, Miranda in the fight for the lost has weird proportions but Miranda in-game has correct proportions but different from Yvonne Strahovski.
