I could care less if they made her more pretty. I would just like them to spend a little less time on her T&A and trying to work a ass and ****** shot INTO EVERY GODDAMN SCENE SHE IS IN!!!!



I cant remember one where the camera dropped to ass level to watch her but or closed in on her oversized no bra attached floppy breasts. What do they use mass effect fields instead of bras in the future? I am afraid for her saftey. Those things look like they could shatter some ribs or her jaw if she started running.

 I do some portrait work myself so here is what I see:








Proportions are standard for both faces and more or less relatively accurate.

Difference in eye shape. Miranda's lower lid is too droopy and upper lid too straight. Flip upside down for better shape.

Difference in nose shape. Miranda's nostrils are too low. Tip not defined enough. Top of nostrils not defined enough. Result is a cauliflower nose.

Lips are too low in relation to the area between the nose and chin. However, because jaw measurements are off, low works better than high for Miranda.

Chin is shape is fine but too near the nose. Lower jaw is too high. Edge of jaw is too soft and lacks Yvonne's angular characteristic.

Overall Yvonne's face is longer than Miranda's. Result: Miranda's face looks more square and wide. Heavier jaw and relatively out of proportion lips.

Agree? Disagree?

I'm not nitpicking or anything here. This sort of thing just interests me and I wanted to show it to those who say they look the same. I actually like Miranda as a character. Her face is just... meh.

I agree mirandas face does look a bit weird.

She does suffer pretty heavily from the uncanny valley effect at times, but I think a lot of the problem is that the technology is just not there yet to perfectly recreate an actor's face in a videogame. Hell, even male Shepard suffers from this problem.



In the "Blur" trailer for Mass Effect 2, and the CGI character interviews, both Miranda and Shepard look absolutely perfect to their real-life counterparts. If videogames were capable of that level of detail (give it another 5-10 years), then we'll be seeing much less of the uncanny valley.
