What can I say that has not already been said? Kelly is sweet, supportive, caring, and a very cute redhead! They cannot put in such a wonderful character in the game and expect us to be satisfied with her only being a quasi-love interest.

I liked the fact that Kelly’s conversations were reactions to events; you recruit Jack and she has something to say. While these dialogs are not elaborate it helps confirm your progress (she recognizes something that I did). I wish they would have incorporated more of these types of responses from our various squad members, instead of making a vague remark on how we are making great progress.
 
Did Kelly’s conversations leave questions about her background? I think so; I hope she is included in Mass Effect 3 so that we can explore her further.

I didn't cheat.

Liara clearly isn't interested in addressing the relationship with Shepard at this point, given her dialogue. My Shep and Liara are on a break, so my Shep finds solace with Kelly as Liara (read: BioWare) gets her **** together.

Wow.  It looks like we could use you and Crimzontearz on the Liara thread.  You two would bring some new perspectives.

Also, I once knew a CrimsonTears on an old forum called ELN.  That's not the same person, is it?

My "perfect" Shepard has Kelly only as a LI, with no LI from the ME1 playthorugh. I've heard it mentioned that having Kelly in your cabin will have an affect in ME3. Hopefully its not just a reaction from a prior LI, assuming you had one. I'd really like more background to come out on her in the next game. Being "hand picked" by the Illusive Man just screams that there is more to her being there than a simple Yeoman/Counselor position.

It is not unbelievable to think the illusive man might have an agent as part of the ships crew, but this threat does not manifest if you decide to destroy the Collector’s base.  I would like to point out the Kelly didn’t manifest any special talents as she was dragged away screaming by the collectors.
 
My reason for first trying to attribute the possibility that Kelly is an agent was to justify her presence in Mass Effect 3. Barring the fact that the portrait of our LI wasn’t turned over I still consider my dealings with her as part of a romance (including a daring rescue). The question is where do we go from there? To me it doesn’t seem compelling enough to have her perform the same job, without some expectation of growth or change to occur. The current cadre of LIs has more for the hero to explore through their stories.
 
Kelly Chambers has garnered a lot of attention and popularity since she was first uncovered; that I feel compels her character to be included in Mass Effect 3. The interesting challenge for Bioware will be what do they make her into (this will be one of the answers I am looking for when I buy ME3). Thanks.

Not
all agents may be skills in combat. If Kelly is alive after the suicide
run and you talk to her, when she recounts her memories with the
Collectors she nearly goes into a Thane like flash back.  Perhaps an
example of an eidetic memory??  She does have access to your emails and
is right there by the Galaxy map. A photographic memory coupled with
the psychology degree to let her read people make for a ultra nasty
spy.  I know I'm probably trying to make her into WAY more than BioWare
has planned for her but its fun to speculate.

Is there a Mod that can delete this post or something?? or maybe figure out whats wrong with it? I have tried to edit out the wall of randomness that seems to have settled within and its refusing to leave. I dont even know what caused it but its driving me crazy that I cant rid the post of it.

If you aren't romancing any of the ME2 LI's (ie Thane/Garrus/Mira/Jack/Jacob), after the game you will get an email from her and the opportunity to call her up to your cabin. Also, her gammar in the email is attrocious. 

You can call all the ME2 LIs up to your cabin if you romance them, in fact, but only Kelly will come up and dance for you in a sleazy asari stripper outfit in addition to the making out and cuddling. 

Anyway, I must echo the people who want Kelly to develop into a fully blown romantic arc. There's a lot of potential for growth and development there after you save her from the collectors. If you didn't want to hug her while she was having her flashback, you have no heart. You can practically tell that she's hanging on by a thread.

As for whether she's an agent or not... Even if she was, given her response to the flashback and the fact that TIM wanted to keep the base, I'm very doubtful that she'd betray Shepard now.

spy.  I know I'm probably trying to make her into WAY more than BioWare
has planned for her but its fun to speculate. 

If you are going to talk about spies don’t limit yourself speculation to only the illusive man.

Its the WAY they show her remembering it. Its almost identical to Thane. And since Drell have Eidetic Memory it would imply that since she is having a "flash-back" moment similar to everyone of Thane's that she may posses it as well. It wasnt just a simple scene of her recounting the horrible experience.
