 Hi all first post here... Noob post.

Completed the main origins campaign on Xbox 360 and now would like to play the expansions. Is this possible as it appears you can not continue after the completion of the game. Is this the case or am i missing something?

Please can someone explain step by step what i will need to do to play the expansions.

When you beat the game, there should be an auto-save created entitled "Epilogue Save" or something similar. You can use this save file, which has your endgame stats and gear but technically exists just before you march to Redcliffe for the final battle, to playthrough DLC adventures.

You'll need to purchase the DLC, first, obviously.

EDIT: The expansion, Awakening, is different and much larger than the DLC. The DLC are about an hour or so a piece, except Stone Prisoner since that one sort of plays out over the course of the rest of the game.

This does not reset the achievement of me completing the game as I do not want to replay that part of the game?



The reason i ask is when awakening is released i do no want to play the climax of Denerim again!

No, it doesn't reset it. You're good

Nope it does not. You do not have to go thru Denerim again! Still if you want to play a dlc that you just downloaded it, you can load up your Epilogue Save and the events will appear to take place before you slaying the dragon.

Does anyone think it will be possible to play a DLC like "Return to Ostagar" from within "Awakening" - instead of having to go back to the Epilogue Save? I don't fancy having to replay the whole Denerim Climatic Battle just to get the King's Armour into my inventory before the new game starts.
