whats the point of adding new squad members now, I mean most people have finished the game already

to play again? seriously, if you only do one play-through you're missing out on a lot of content

I have already finished the game 3 times on various difficulties I do not want to play it again, i would rather have new missions.....

You'll have to wait. It's coming, but it takes time to create content.

I know that I am just saying I hope the new content is not a new squadmate...

Typically what i do is wait for all the DLC to come out and then in one fell swoop grab it all and play the game again.

I did it with Fallout 3,

gonna be doing it with Assassin's Creed 2.

will do it with Dragon Age and Mass Effect 2.

New characters means new missions, or least a new mission.  Hopefully Kasumi and any future characters will have recruitment missions as well as loyalty ones, being able to just walk up to Zaeed was a little lame.  Personally, I would enjoy it if they made several new squad members with two missions a piece.  The character stories were the strongest part of the game.

Other than that, I would hope for most of the DLC to be content that actually takes place *after* the primary mission is over, and bridges the gap between ME2 and ME3.  As much as I enjoyed the final confrontation in Bring Down the Sky, the ME1 DLC never felt like it really lived up to the devs statement about bridging the gap between the first two games, it felt more like essentially irrelevant side missions.

its like they just put bring down the sky in the game so they would have an excuse for having batarians all over the ****ing place in me2

besides the one shot DLs of the armour, Kasumi, Hammerhead ( which SHOULD unlock a whole slew of planets, though my gut says only one planet to start) and the possibility of a liara one ( which I will akin to a loyalty quest in scope) I'm really hoping to see not just BDtS type ones, or just full expansions...

I really really wanna see a Mission Pack of say, 5 or more N7 missions...they dont even need to be completely connected to eachother...but just something to beef up the lack of true N7 missions.

I don't want to see one shot little 5 minute things like the Normandy crash site ( unless it's free) showing up and expected to pay for it...

give me a set of 5+ of those, and you most likely will get me to go for it.

I'm surprised Bioware is even in business...it seems such a small portion of people understand the games they make.

While i'm not sure about the Liara DLC i have heard that one of the DLC packs will be tied into the Redemption comic book so there could be some grain of truth into it.

People don't have to understand.  Just buy.

Jonesin for a broken steel style DLC. I wanna see what happens after i kick the crap outta the murdering space bugs, not just the "oh yeah! can't believe we pulled that off man" one line from my team. Plus I GOTTA hear something as memorable as "Death is a preferable alternative to communism!" being shouted from a 50 ft tall robot with laser emiting eyeballs. Come up with something like that BW and you got my money for as long as you're around.

lol Kasumi is all but confirmed considering if you have a PC you can edit your game to "unlock" her only to have it not work, but her data is there.

As for the Liara DLC, I wouldn't hold your breath on that being too soon. They mentioned some DLC will be to bridge ME 2 to ME 3, but that would only be as ME 3 was closer to being released.

So, in the Liara DLC. We get to play as her?

Seems odd.

I'd just be happy with some bugfixes, actually. Most of them are minor, but so damned annoying. Anyone else ever had a Praetorian sit down in the middle of a pillar and beamspam you?

How about we just be happy they're even doing DLC at all, and not bug them for release dates?

The fact that you can play after the 'suicide mission' basically tells you in the future there might be content after the mission.

There is no Liara DLC, at least no hints or leaks from the devs. Someone probably just started this rumor. At least Kasumi has proof. And don't expect them to add more DLC squad mates. Kasumi is the last.

The news about Kasumi was actually new to me, so was the Liara news. But seriously another human? No thanks.

Don't be too quick to accept the Liara rumor. That one has no proof.
