Kaiden is pure paragon.  He's tolerant of aliens and even goes further than Anderson, also a paragon by saying that humans should make more concessions to the Council.
He says that aliens are saints and sinners like the rest of us.

Being a paragon, I liked his personality and agreed with him.  Couldn't stand Ashley for talking trash to my buddies Wrex and Garrus.  
I imagine if I were a woman, I wouldn't mind scrogging Kaiden but I am a dude and I'm not into scrogging other dudes so I was dissapointed that my only paragon scrog option was the ugly blue girl.

It was kinda odd, as the animations are the same whether or not Shep is Male or female, or a LI (cept habd shake vs hug). On horizon he get close like he's going to kiss you, its kinda awkward with a maleShep that had no intrest in him.

He is a great voice actor, I just wish Kaiden was as interesting as Carth was. Carth was my favorite character next to canderous in Kotor.

you know, I never saved kaiden..sometimes wish I did. I cant stand ash at all...only reason her ass is still alive is because I needed her skills...when it came to kaiden, My shep already had most of the same biotic talents, or more useful ones and any other skills he had were also in another teammate to, so he seemed useless to me.

but then again, in a situation like that......you don't care what you grab as long as the job gets done, you could have grabbed him by the junk and dragged him out, and he should be thanking you for saving his life even though he will need to use a catheter for the rest of his days.

Whether it's a Carth comparison, a misunderstanding of his migraines, a misunderstanding of his role as one of Shepard's officers, or a generalization of his character, I'd have to say that most of us have seen it all and just sigh broodlingly when we see it.
Tali fans, on the other hand, are some of the most incredibly thin skinned people you will ever see:blink:

He is a closer to carth then Alister, I mean hes got the same voice as him and everything! I dont know why I hate Kaiden so much personally, I leave him on the ship, but I took Carth in Kotor everywhere. It makes me sad.

Wrex was kind of the same way when you meet him on Tuchanka.  He's sitting there looking all bored then he sees you and his face lights up and he runs over.  I wanted to be say calm down there Wrex not in front of Tali she doesn't know about us.

See, I hated Tali like that. She bothers me because there's no inherent flaw to her character... it's almost like she's a Mary Sue character.

Since I'm a girl...no...it wouldn't have felt gay. Although ironically I never saved him. All of my playthrough's seemed to be Liara romances....I thought I had a finished Kaiden one in there somewhere but it was just so much fun to extinguish him with nuclear fire....

Kaiden is a tool. Nuff said. He's the most white bread character in the game, wonder bread even. everyone else has all sorts of flavor and variety. he comes off to me as a typical dick-head lieutenant, a dime a dozen officer class who dwells on his jump zero magic camp b.s. and constantly lives in denial going out of his way to tell you "i have my personal history behind me, don't worry" while bleeding his heart out about it once he has your ear. alenko, i wanted a mission report and some readings from those cryo pods, not a long winded rant about your mean turian step mother.
