I always save Kaidan because I need a romance and I do actually like him. Except once I saved Ash just to do it. Deep down, I think Ash wanted to die, to bring honor to her family's disgraced name.

Anyway Kaidan is more fun when you turn him Renegade. Kaidan's romance scene is hot too. (Boo for terrible romances in ME2)

Let's not get into this. Can of worms. Despite women generally being less physically strong than males (nothing wrong with this), they can still HURT males when punching them. They can catch them off guard. We don't know how much tougher the turian body is. You can stumble back from a punch just out of surprise, after all, Shepard caught Saren off guard.

I still think there is no way a woman could hurt a Turian by just bunching him.

I think for female Shepard they should've had her kicking Saren in the balls.  That would make more sense.

Also don't forget that Shepard is an Alliance soldier, all who are genetically enchanced through gene therapy and shes a graduate of the N7 special forces, I think she can throw a punch.

There are quite a few cybernetic upgrades you can pick up in ME2.  I think it's safe to say that an N7 probably has some modifications, and some just might be in the muscle fiber department.

All member's of the alliance military get genetically enhanced, so they are essentially super soldier's.

Funny thing is all the people complaining that Ashley is a racist/xenophobic ****.

Well if you saved her in ME1, when you meet her on Horizon she ****es at you for "being" with Cerberus stating that 'Even she knows that she is xenophobic, but at least she is not AS BAD as Cerberus"....

You know it's bad with Cerberus when even Ash complains about their "pro human agenda".

Ok but seriously:

How is Kaidan and dudeShep's relationship gay in any stretch of the imagination?
I saw their interaction on Horizon. Kaidan talks like a friend that feels like he was left out to dry. He committed mutiny with Shepard, an offense that would have sentenced them to death by firing squad.
It is possible for guys that have gone to war and served together to be closer than the closest of friends. This most certainly doesn't make them gay.

It's because the way Kaiden was talking with Shepard using comments like "having you gone was like missing a limb" made it seem like they were a little bit too close.

I hurt from all the laughing.

So, lets sum it all up: Touching Kaiden's pink armoured ass is only gay if you liked it. I predict Bioware will draw some of these forum rants into humorous background chats for ME3.

Shepard: Alenko. It's good to see you again.
Kaidan: You too, Commander
*they shake hands*
Shepard: So, remember the time I grabbed your ass on Virmire when I saved you?
Kaidan: Not really. My ribs were broken and I had a gunshot wound on my thigh.
Shepard: Well, I just wanted you to know that I call no ******.
Kaidan: Uhm... glad to hear that, Commander

-----

(Shepard and co. enter Anderson's office on the Presidium)
Shepard: Councilor, why is there a picture of Alenko on your desk?
Anderson: There is?
*Kaidan backs away slowly from Anderson*
Shepard: Yes, there is an obvious picture of Kaidan on your desk.
Anderson: I hand picked him for the Normandy's original crew because of his biotic skills. There's no reason why I can't have a picture of him on my desk. I call no ******. Besides *I* didn't grab his ass on Virmire.
Shepard (suddenly frantic): I called no ****** as I picked him up! It's not half as bad as you having a picture of him on your desk!!
*Kaidan runs over to the desk, grabs the picture and throws it like a frisbee across the Presidium*
Kaidan: I'm going to go chat with some women. Goodbye.<_<

Would have been funnier if during the first one kaidan went awwwwww.

Only reason I saved him in the first game was because Ashley was talking trash about my buddies Garrus and Wrex so I decided she deserved to die in a nuclear inferno.

When I saved Kaiden, I threw him on my shoulders and if you look real closely it looks like Commander Shepard is touching his ass.

Then in the second game, I saw Kaiden on Horizon and he was whining about how I didn't call and how he would've followed me to the end.
It didn't make Commander Shepard seem outright gay, but it did seem a little bi-curious.

I would've saved Ashley but her bigotry was pissing me off.  It would've been nice to touch her ass instead though.

I think if that made you feel "a little gay", it might be time to have a long talk with yourself.

Edit: and I am not "accusing" you of anything.  This is serious advice.  It's 2010, it's OK to be gay.

But I'm not gay.  I have nothing against gays at all but I don't like how the game treated me like just because I saved Kaiden that we were something more than friends.

You pulled his ass out of a nuclear explosion (In your case, literally.) If hes just your friend, then well.... your too nice a person.

Why would you feel gay for saving your friend? Some inner feelings starting to explode out of the closet? hah.. seriously though, I always chose Kaiden.... it was a hard choice, Liara was always the love interest though and I mostly played as a fem shepard.... I'd lookat it this way, in real life... who had the best chances of survival? The person arming the bomb pretty much alone besides a few regular soldiers there... or someone with an elite squad (Ashley)? Ashley had the best chances of survival, so I went back for Kaiden.... in real life, it would make the most sense... while this is just a video game, that's how I decided who to save.

Kaidan is a sensitive modern man who is in touch with his feelings.  He tells femShep he was in love with her if they're in a romance...so you got off lucky.

The pink armor and the thing where you can say I wish we had more time to talk to kelly, didnt help either.

Well depends on who you send them with. But if you do virmire last and save the squad, their vendor does sell the specter gear...

no. in the seven playthrough i've done of Mass Effect 1...

i've killed Kaiden in every single one.
why?

i call him "Generic Man".

seriosuly nothing stands out about him - to me.

Ashley was more interesting to me than Kaiden was.

Whether you liked her or not it is a fact that Ash was the most complicated and interesting character in ME1. I liked her, but my friend hated her and even he agrees with me.

My femshep saved Kaidan and I must say she looked very heterosexual carrying him to safety.

But still Kaidan gets carried military style and there is nothing sexual at all about saving your comrades on the battlefield.

Ashley deserved that lmao, But yeah i want to "straighten" up kaiden. After all they been through he goes on a strict alliance fest. Lets see what happens in ME3 after he finds out I took out the collector base.
