Anyone else here think the fact that biotic powers like singularity cant affect shielded or armoured opponents is stupid? Barrier I could understand, since its a biotic defense, and makes sense that it could stop other biotic attacks. The other two just dont seem right though. Its making insanity a dull affair, since 90% of combat is me debuffing defenses. Once I toss a singularity its all over. I prefer the ME1 way, where you can wrap up a few enemies in a singularity, and THEN concentrate on stripping away their defenses and health, or simply take them out of the fight for a small period. In ME2 it seems like singularity is only useful in making the 5 seconds it takes to kill an opponent with just its health slightly easier.

I really hope they make biotics a force to be reckoned with in ME3. The ME2 biotics are a joke.

Edit: I was meaning to say, I bring this up because I recently finished the collector ship on insanity. It was boring, and having singularity actually have an impact in the fight, rather than at the end of each kill would have been nice.
