If it doesn't eat, sleep, and reproduce it should not be counted as "alien life", but a synthetic (or hybrid)

Personality-wise, I'd say I'm most like a Salarian. I like to think I'm kind of intelligent, or at least well-spoken. I'm also known to be a little twitchy and hyperactive (i blame the ADHD, hurf durf). I'm a Bio major, so maybe a female Salarian xenobiologist, studying exotic alien life... IN SPACE?

If I got to CHOOSE however, based on preference rather than personality... hmm. Turian. Life would be tough, but so would I! And, uh, I'd have awesome cheek... mandible... things. And stuff.

I am speaking from a strictly Mass Effect perspective. I know there is a lot of debate on what defines true life and sentience, but that would be going extremely off-topic.

The popular choices are obviously the Council races, followed by krogan and drell, and lastly Vorcha for the eccentric types. Volus, hanar, elcor, and batarian are the bottom choices for everyone because they are too ugly and unappealing.

I wouldn't want to be a batarian for the sole reason that I would be shut off on some alien world by a totalitarian alien government. D8
