 WHich one did you like more 
I come to mass effect 2 because the actual fighting was better
 BUT
ME2 lost most of its RP content (became a breakdown to combat skills)
You did not buy any weapons
mako is gone

PROs
No more annoying driving everywere on the off chance you find something
Ammo is now a must (in ME1 because you had unlimited ammo it was to easy)
Game is more fluid
