I actually dont mind the ammo change too much. Just holding down the trigger was no fun really in the first game. I do think that ammo should increase as the game progresses. SMG had a ammo increase research project, more guns should have that.
The powers system on your squadmates was bit of a downer too. Only 2 ability initially and 3 with Loyalty mission? While you get 5 + 1 more with a loyalty mission. Then again if you have too many powers then characters are all the same.
ME1 and ME2 are very good games though.
Comparing ME2 to ME1 Overall Opinion

Sorry for double and triple posts, the wireless single I had kept disconnecting me and I wasn't sure if it was sent. My bad.

GHM, we saw the post the first three times, no need to keep posting it over and over.

Yes, I agree that combining the strongest points of ME1 and ME2 will make for a better ME3.
And please stop taking the "R" out of RPG - a bit more of RPG in ME3 would be appreciated.
Again I have to ask: Have you noticed that ME2 has key bindings for vehicles (including a key for mining)? But where are the vehicles?

ME2 was beautiful, visually it was such a step up, and the combat was something I loved. ME1 had annoying moments, finding minerals etc, but I actually really enjoyed using the Mako because driving across those barren planets gave that feeling of enormous space, how big the galaxy really is.
If there had been afew planets like that (maybe combining 3 or 4 side missions in ME2 onto a single wide open planet, with emphasis on exploration and less combat orientated tasks, I think it would've been brilliant.)
I felt quite claustraphobic in ME2, and rushed in a negative way (Press B to End the mission).
