It's a simple strategy, really. Just lay down some traps and kill the man with the bow. But it's important that you layout your traps the right way. Here's a sample setup:

Or.... Stealth>set like 69 traps>Loghain walks over them>???> Profit?



To be honest, I thought the fight was pretty easy, no matter who you play as. Archers can Pinning Shot + AoS + Scattershot + Stealth to kite him. Or if you're a dex archer just fight him straight up.



Also, you can just use your companions, or bomb him, or whatever.
