Ok, I'm still playing ME2 as of this writing and I just love all the changes, except for one thing well two actually but I'll get to that a little later...

what I want/hope the devs would do is create a proper expansion, not DLC. why...well no offense to those who enjoy getting/purchasing DLC, I just cant seem to get the logic of getting a few hours/missions/armor/weapon about any game that doesnt actually advance the story of said game... and to me bioware games are as much about the story as it is also about the gameplay. so make an expansion pack and here are some suggestions towards its content...

have the expansion pack "happen" after the events of ME2 (granted I havent gotten to the end yet on my play
through... im actually looking forward on what happens next) my reason for this is "watching" the opening sequence to ME2 and the few moments I get to play in it, I mean wow, that was just awesome... but how about letting me play through the events that led to that moment, give me the background gameplay/missions, like what shep and friends are doing in the interim that leads up to the events of ME3

SET THE STAGE for me so to speak for ME3 in the expansion pack, send me on missions of research, exploration, let me see and participate in uncovering more about the ME universe, its denizens, the reaper threat, create tension in the LI's and friendships that I've cultivated but keep the "big bang"  especially the "confrontation part" ;P  you know like show me the pot as it starts to boil (expansion) and then put the pivotal spilling over moment into ME3 (biotic showdown of LI's! :o YES!), develop all my squadmates, show me more of their back stories heck let me participate in them as they show you more about who they are and where they come from, things you can do in a proper expansion pack and not in a few hours of DLC, I'll gladly pay the full price of a game for the expansion that actually advances the game "storywise" and then for the best part... CREATE A CLIFFHANGER EVENT/MOMENT, which you can then use to open up ME3! which will actually then make me rant about in the FORUMS for you to hurry up and finish ME3 (and you have my permission to put it in 5 disks just to make sure the story and gameplay turns out as awesome and epic as I am anticipating it to be :P ~ just dont use the copy protection that you used, because frankly it sucks...check out my post on installation disks not being recognized - for background info! :pinched:)

an expansion pack that deals with the above mentioned ideas is the logical extension, for me at least, to tackle otherwise seemingly trivial/background information about your squadmates and the universe which would to my thinking would bog down the epic story to end all stories that is ME3, make me care even more about the people, the places in the ME universe with a proper expansion to the game and then bring out ME3 :wizard:

on what I dont like about ME2... scanning! dont get me wrong i like waving my mouse around a planet hoping to detect minerals, but cmon... I should'nt have to keep the right mouse button pressed the whole time! how about click once to activate and then another to deactivate scanning:happy: also the dragging of my mini normandy to other stars systems.... how about finding another way to do it? the other thing im disapointed about is....there seems to be very little sidequests..... more sidequests please especially those that deals with codex entries, put me in those places :D ... the last one about sidequests is easily fixed and can be actually address with DLC :D

my two bits to the devs who at least to my thinking wander around the forums to get the feel of what the games they make have on people and are looking for what fans of the game want to see in their product... again awesome game, cant wait to finish it... ^_^

~ on a side note...this could potentially take away resources that are working on ME3... but i think character/universe expositions could be more properly/fully addressed in an expansion,...feel free comment, agree/disagree with what I've written...
