Inside jokes aside, this isn't Dragonbook. Or Mass Effect-book. BioBoards are being euthanized and this place will replace it. That means 12 other games, minus however many they decide to drop forum support for (if any). NWN's boards for sure will survive and that game isn't rated M.

There is still no official forum on this sight because it is made for Bioware/EA games no old Bioware games that's why they aren't already here.

It is fairly obvious that the current 'social' system is very much work in progress. Hopefully it should mature into a better experience overtime.



Things like avatars, search and the small niceties I am sure are fixable.

I'm sorry, but could someone enlighten me as to how that works (if it isn't "illegal" to divulge that kind of info, otherwise a PM would do as well..)?

'Cause I've been trying that (and I've put in pictures with the same pixel measurements, the same file type and everything), but each time my game overwrites the "custom pictures" with a normal portrait of the character again after a while.

I put in the new file instead of the old portrait, I check again after some time, and before it has ever uploaded the new image to my online profile, poof, the file is mysteriously replaced again - how does it even do that?

Or is it that I cannot play the characters in question anymore, since every time I change equipment or load a save with different gear the portrait will "update" itself to reflect that?
But then how am I to get the unlplayed character with the custom portrait to upload, seeing as uploads mostly just happen when you change gear/level up etc?

If anyone could give me some pointers here I'd be most grateful...

I really dont care that people are able to take advantage of the system to get their own personal avatars, but i really do wish BioWare would include alot more defualt pics to choose from for us who are unable to get our own.

I get the same issue with he CC, it changing the portrait file back without me doing anything... plus it won't upload... oh well. Guess I'll have to give up on the custom avatar thing, either it isn' to to be or I'm just making some fundamentally stupid mistake somewhere.
