I love Tali to bits. She is one of my favorite characters. But judging on the story of ME2 and the fact that she got such a big role in ME2 makes me think she will not have a squadmate role in ME3. She, like Wrex, will be taking on political duties in the Migrant Fleet. She will be able to be visited, and you can probably push the Peace/War with Geth storyline forward with her.

I think Admiral Tali has a great ring to it 8)

The thought of her being an admiral seems wrong. Then again the other admirals aren't exactly the most brilliant individuals I've met, so I suppose she will fit right in.

Actually if it gets her off my ship I'm all for it.

As much as I like Tali in my squad, I wouldn't mind that outcome.

She already says in ME2 that some Quarians are pushing for her to be an Admiral.

Lol, I will avoid using charm so Tali gets exiled if it means I can have her as a squadmate in ME3, rather than an admiral NPC.

um. no. the last thing i experienced was me and her snuggling in my cabin, why would either of us leave each other?

i want her by my side from here on out. and thankfully, that makes sense story-wise.

Easiest way to get her off the ship?

Put her in the vents, then put someone not loyal or not right for the job leading the fire team.

BOOM! headshot. Dead quarian is dead. Doesn't matter if she was loyal or not herself.

No

I want Tali in my party, I want Garrus in my party, I want Legion in my party, I want Grunt (Wrex is too occupied I understand) in my party, I want Samara in my party, I want Thane in my party, I want Kaiden/Ashley in my party, I want Liara in my party, I want Mordin in my party, I want Jack in my party, I want Miranda in my party, I want Jacob in my party

Practically everyone should be recruitable in ME3 since they're ending a trilogy and thus legacy. No **** footing and cameos if it can be helped.

What if you get her exiled, or she's dead. What then?

I don't want her to be an admiral, since I really want her to continue being in my squad. But putting my bias aside, I don't think it'll happen.

-She's pretty young still, and the Quarians don't seem like the type who'll put someone young into that position.
-vas Normandy
-She's not a good leader. She's got a good head on her shoulders, but she's prone to letting emotions get the better of her. Plus we saw how she completely failed to keep those Quarians on Freedom's Progress under her command. Compare that to Shepard for example, who can talk his way into letting a Geth attend a Quarian hearing on the Flotilla.

i'd prefer it if they kept her on the squad. Rather than just write her out.

and for those who don't like her at all. have her die in Mass Effect 2.... easy.

I'd rather her be a party member, honestly.

She will be a squad member. BioWare know there will be rioting and blood in the streets if she isn't.

Maybe at the end of ME3. I wouldn't have a problem with that.

Shepard is space Chuck Norris, we all knew that :D

I'm going to do that in my 'ultimate' renegade playthrough. Should be satisfying. Though I don't really want her dead. I'd just like to punch her. In some ways that would be more satisfying as my character is hurting her, rather than it being the Collectors.

24 year old Admiral?

The Admirals are actual military leaders on the Flotilla. Tali is a sweetheart and a brilliant engineer, but she's no soldier and she's definitely no military leader. She even says in ME1 that her father's position cannot be inherited. It would make more sense for her to join the Conclave, the civilian branch of quarian government.

But I'd prefer she stay on the Normandy, provided she survived the mission.

To be honest, I never really used Tali in ME1 or ME2. The only time I ever used her in ME2 was to do her loyalty quest. I guess I wasn't fascinated by her helmet or something, lol.

While this would probably be a good thing for the players who have this option available, I think it will cause too many problems with the exiled ones. BW would be making essentially two very large and very distinct story paths for just one character. Unless she was like a crew member and not a squad member should she be exiled. I still think though its a large undertaking on their part. If she is dead its not a problem. Personally, I think she would fit on the Admiralty Board and it would be a believable story path. It just depends on how to handle the other situations. It probably won't happen.

I used Tali in ME1 for the tech abilities because I think she was one of the few only characters that would allow you to do both hacking and decrypting.  Near the end of that game I was like "Awww, what a nice quarian!"  At some point I visited the ME forums and was introduced to the oppressive Tali love and I lol'd...and then I realized they were right :?

Eh... I don't think most of my Shepard's want to hurt Tali. But since I as a player do dislike her, I can RPG her off my squad and give her a worthy death. It is supposed to be a suicide mission after all. There has to be a price, and I won't play most of my Shepard's as completing it off without a scratch. To me its not a Paragon vs. Renegade thing. A real Renegade would probably consider the squad expendable assets, while the Paragon would feel each loss keenly. Both would expect the squad to fulfill their duty, even to death.

Interesting concept, probably more plausible as well, but considering the amount of Tali-Love out there, i would be willing to bet she'll have a greater role than the wrex like cameo.
