Heh. As long as it's not in MY fleet or ship, I'm ok with that. Oh...and she has to lead the charge in an engagement.

Did you play ME2? Was she not leading several missions when you met her both times?OverlordNexas wrote...

All this. And didn't bioware say something about your LI playing a big part in ME3?sergio71785 wrote...
I don't want her to be an admiral, since I really want her to continue being in my squad. But putting my bias aside, I don't think it'll happen.
-She's pretty young still, and the Quarians don't seem like the type who'll put someone young into that position.
-vas Normandy
-She's not a good leader. She's got a good head on her shoulders, but she's prone to letting emotions get the better of her. Plus we saw how she completely failed to keep those Quarians on Freedom's Progress under her command. Compare that to Shepard for example, who can talk his way into letting a Geth attend a Quarian hearing on the Flotilla.

THIS.
Because people who performed surgery on their childhood toys are just plain awesome.

You know, I just played through her discussion in ME1 where she tells you her father is an Admiral. You can ask her if that makes her quarian royalty, and she says her father's rank is not hereditary.
That means she couldn't simply be 'elevated' to Admiral without breaking some of the social/political customs of the quarians. It could happen of course, the writers can write whatever they want, but I still think it would make more sense and be more believable if Tali were to join the Conclave instead, which is the civilian branch of government.

You mean the team who ignored her orders, ran off, and got killed? Real aspiring leader she is.
Also was it ever said she was in charge of the marines Haestrom? It seemed like she was only in charge of the science. Regardless, they all die again.
Also try putting her in charge of one of the fireteams during the suicide mission and see what happens.
Tali is genius mechanic, even by Quarian standards, but she is a poor leader.

I love Claudia Black. I just have a feeling I will have to blow her through an airlock in ME 3. Oh well...

Tali has minimal leadership experience. She's not really fit for being an admiral beyond the role of symbolism. Plus, she has to be with Shepard fighting the Reapers, and eventually marrying him.
