Shadowstrike has a multiplier of 2 against all sort of defenses.That makes Kasumi to the best defense stripper shepardt could get.And with the tech cooldown upgrade and her class passive she could use that every 6 seconds.
Dont waste points in her overload.

What you didnt understand?How long is the cooldown of overload?How long is the cooldown and the damage of shadowstrike with tech cooldown upgrade and kasumis cooldown bonuses that she get through her class talent.
Just compare that and think again about what is effective or not.

Ive also experienced plenty of " bugs" with her not striking atall, or VERY late. Sometimes she stealths just to walk over, unstealth and stand there... and then she dies
still nice move when it does hit

For shields,squad disruptor is the best ability anyway.Against geth,its just priceless.Inferno doesnt damage geth.Darqion wrote...

I don't know how many times I've ordered Kasumi to shadow strike only to have her apear behind the target stuck in the crouched cover animation. She won't move or respond to any commands when that occurs. Shadow strike is awesome when it works, but seemingly half the time she either says "can't get there, can't do it" even when it's an enemy in a wide open area, or just bugs out and she gets stuck in place after she cloaks.

The thing is Area Overload can take down of all enemys in a 3m radius, so as Warp Explosion can take down the armor/barrier of enemies in a 7m radius.... that's a lot. Kasumi's ST can only hit 1 target at a time.

Area overload take down enemies?Geth on casual,or what.At best it destroys the shields but left the full healthbar of regular troppers/cannon fodder.
Like i said, squad disruptor ammo is best for taking down shields anyway.And shadowstrike is effective to remove the protection of bosses with two protection layers.I had never problems with shadowstrike.(xbox)

Its defenitly a bug.After getting hit,he couldnt attack anymore for more then only 4 seconds.
Back to shadowstrike:
Its wasted on health. Its the best defense stripping ability in the game. 550 damage with deadly shadow strike and a 2 multiplicator against all sort of defenses.(1100 damage against shields,armor and barriers)
Warp and Overload couldnt compare with that,even with the six damage upgrades.

Yeah, I am doing it right now on insanity. I hook the squad up with Cryo and then activate Incendiary heavy for me.
I can not do the whole Claymore kamakazie stuff. I am getting banged up real bad. Instead, I play bit more patient.
My Vanguard build:
Incendiary ammo: 10/Heavy
Cryo Ammo: 10/squad
Charge: 10/Area
Shockwave: 1
Champion: 10
Pull: 0
Reave: 10/Area
I love sending 2-3 enemies to a shattering death and cleaning up the rest with my napalm sprayer, Incendiary Heavy is a beautful thing. I let my squad strip defenses, freeze them and then I move in with the street cleaning.
