Is it worth it? I didnt buy the collectors edition but im considering buying an unused code, only if its worth it. So far my main is a soldier so i can use the collectors rifle, but i just started a infiltrator, and i plan to make that my new main since the soldier isnt that far into the story.
I have a feeling the collectors armor isnt best for infiltrators? Plus they cant use the assault rifle
So should i pass on getting it? Or buy it and use it for a different class.
Opinions?

I was in the same boat as you, I bought a collector's code for 30 bucks. I really like the outfit but the collector rifle is sorta bleah. However, I do not regret my decision because every other armor and weapon will be available as DLC in the future except for collectors bundle.

I am a diehard ME fan. I love ME1 and ME2 and was broken-hearted when ALL retailers sold out of ME2 CE. I was so sad I didn't have the collector armor/rifle. Then I played ME2. Truth be told, the armor stats on collector armor is very good but I could not justify spending ~25$ on DLC codes for the CE armor/rifle.
I love the game and want the content but after beating ME2 8 times so far I can safely say you do not need the CE to have a great/amazing/remarkable experience.
if anything, the only reason to use collector armor is to beat the game on insanity, and i already did that without it. The collector rifle is not as good as the vindicator or the heavy machine gun.
so imo, no, its not worth stressing out over. i stressed out over it and then i realized ME2 is an amazing game without the CE armor/rifle.

depends on whether it's just for completionist purposes and/or you don't mind not seeing your shep's face in convos.
with the armor sets you can not remove the head wear.
I've the dragon blood armor and the collectors and have never worn them as one of the great driving forces of drama is facial expession, not seeing sheps face can really kill a chunk of immersion.

yeah that is a good point, i use terminus and BDA armor and they both kill the cinematic dialogue. never seeing facial expressions is not worth the stats in ME2 unless you are playing on insanity. I don't even use the +5% HP helmet because I rather see my SHEP's face. Looking like a collector for all of ME2 cinematics would be very boring.

But anyway, ill stick with what i have now, i have the BDA and terminus, i havent used BDA yet, and only reason im using terminus is cause im too early in the story to have any of those other good upgraded armor pieces yet, but thanks for the input guys, i need to start looking up good armor combos for infiltrators

Dr Pepper DLC codes are cheap and a good idea too. they have 3 helmets and they offer different stat bonuses. they only cost as much as the price of a 20 oz bottle of dr pepper and then you go online and register at drpepper.com
as for the armor in game, the best combos i've made are +25% hp, +10% shields
this is huge defense and i enjoy it, i also really like the bulky shin guards and shoulder pads, they make my shep look more like a mechwarrior
