These are currently the top 2 highest rated female faces on the ME2 faces site, and they definitely deserve their positions:

Anyone have a go at creating these in ME1?  I've tried to make the first one, but I'm terrible at getting anything decent out of ME1's face editor.  I wasn't able to get anything worth posting.  If you're better at wrangling ME1's editor, please have a go and make sure to record and post the slider values if you do.

I take it, that you can only make those on PC version only.

I actually think both of those are unattractive. *Shrugs*

No, at least I don't think so.  They're not modded or anything.  I presume they are achievable with the Xbox version as well.  The only difference is that the XBox version doesn't have the easy to use code that you can cut/paste to create them.

Wow really?  To each his own, but enough people seem think they look good enough to vote them into the top spots on the ME2 faces website.  If you've got something that you feel puts them to shame, it would be great of you to share it.

Simply follow their code creation in ME1. Begin with facial structure for the first number, slider at 6 for Alma and 7 for Jane, and finish with Eye shadow at slider position 6 for both. Letters are sliders after 9, A=10, B=11, etc..

But, they look different in ME1 than in ME2. My first transfered shepard look more nice in ME2 than ME1. HD power perhaps...

Ah thank you very much, I didn't know that the creation codes correspondly directly to the slider values like that.  The letters threw me off.

Critical question though - is a slider all the way to the left considered 0 or 1?

Can I change my character appearance in ME2, if I import from ME1?

Yes you can. You can choose even to look like "original" Shepard if you want.

Oh! Good, because I don't like hair nor mouth on my Shepard now

Well I thought the exactly same thing (a little bit too thight neck), but the stupid thing is that you can't edit your own-made Shepard. :( You have to choose to take the vanilla-Shepard, the ported Shepard-look from the save or make a whole new. So I just sticked with my original Shepard...

Of course, if you have patience you can make the Shepard look like your old Shepard and even better. Stupid thing that you can't edit from the Shepard-look that the game originally uses, I think it has some unique things like a look of the skin and eyes for example.

Kokkostan: Are you 100% sure about that?  I'm pretty sure when I imported my ME1 save it allowed me to edit the custom face as a starting point, but I could be wrong.

Anyway the reason I started this thread is that I was never really happy with my Shepard from the first game, and I decided to go back and replay ME1 for other reasons, beyond just the face.  So I figured if I was going to use one those pretty faces in ME2, I should get my ME1 face as close to possible to have some continuity.

What were those reasons if I may ask?  Just curious.

Even f the values were the same for the first game and you could copy paste them, i dont think they'd wind up looking as good as in ME2.  Though having the best looking custom femshep in ME1 would certainly be something I'd like to try as well.

Just to refresh myself with the story and change some decisions points that in retrospect I wanted to go other ways.  I know I could just download a ME1 savegame from that one site, but I don't "roll like that" if you'll pardon the expression.  I played a bit through ME2, but I'm in no hurry, it'll still be there when I'm ready for it.

I'm just not looking forward to doing the uncharted worlds again, ugh.

Nah, just about 75% sure. That means I didn't find that option by myself, but it can be there somewhere. :D

I don't know. I like my Fem!Shep to look hardened, not all dolled up. That's just my personal taste. I've designed my Shepard to have a strong jaw and be a 'handsome' woman. That's just what I like. ^.^ Clicking on the eyes will link to my main Shepard's gallery, so you can see for yourself. Beautiful thing about the world though, to each their own.

For the record, you cannot tweak your ME imports. The best you can do is try and recreate them in the ME2 editor if you want to tweak something. There is the Gibbed editor as well, which I recommend for doing more interesting things. Giving non imports the purple eyes, for example.

The top rated faces are pretty, but they don't go well with the "fighting to save the galaxy" theme. Shepard is a badass soldier, not a hot waitress. She's also pushing 30, so I don't try to make her look like she isn't. Also, I always have her wear her hair pulled back in a bun or a ponytail or something, because long loose hair would only be in the way when you're running around killing geth and blowing stuff up. I know that wearing my hair down when working is annoying and I'm not doing anything half as dangerous or the same pace as Shepard is.
This is all my opinion though, the great thing about this game is that we can all pretty much make Shepard look and act whichever way we want her to. We're not stuck with a default toon acting the way the developers picture it. Been wanting to do a playthrough as male Shepard, but I haven't been able to yet, because "my Shepard" is the one connected to the story for me and this attachment to a character is one of the big reasons I love this game.

The top left slider is 1.

Edit : Scar slider is ignored into ME2 code. Skip it. The fourth digit or letter concern neck thickness.

When I tried to edit my ME1 shep, I could either go with my face or pick custom to edit. However when it went to custom, it defaulted to one of the presets, and didn't let me just customize my chars face a bit.

You can get the code, once you get ingame and go to the Squad screen. It will be above your characters head. I guess the best way to go is write that in a notepad or something, copy and past it to the "custom" screen. Then do tweaks.

I was trying to recreate a char in ME1.. I just matched up the sliders. I had both games open, lol. And did a bit of counting. That would probably work better though.

I thought I ended up with a good looking Femshep. It was only when I started actually playing that I noticed that her ears rivaled Dumbo's :|

Totally agreed. For my FemShep, I went with a "calm, confident" kind of beauty, not the sex-kitten or model (*cough*Miranda*cough*) look. To quote Kaidan's words... "Beautiful, but not stuck-up about it".

I do have a fondness for longer hair on women though, so I compromised and went with the shoulder-length hair for my FemShep. Image IPB

although you can't type in the code for 360, it does show up at bottom of screen and digits change as you modify, so you can build the code from step 1 to the end.
