placeable_types Problem

Has anyone else noticed problems with the placeable_types 2DA? The problem is that Placable appear in the toolset but not in game.

Here i used IDs which didnt work: 13060, 13061 ,23060.

But IDs which work are 1360, 23061, 33060, 33061...

I have also tried IDs above 65535  and they dont work at all.

Another problem is, that when i edit such a new placeable i can do so only 1 time. Next time i open it, it tells me the Appearance type is missing, and switches to a default door appearance. I can get around this by restarting the Toolset thou.

Anyone?

aahhhh im going mad at this. =((

Suddenly both placeable dont show up in game at all. Except for one savegame, which is even weirder. All i did was builder to player, and tested if it would install correctly. I could restart whatever it didnt show, but in the toolset it did.



I think this was because the numbers! So i redo it again, i give them yet another ID numbers (this time 43060 and 61) and do builder to player, and oh wonder now it works apparantly.



So i am obliged to change something.. I open and close a placeable few times ,and no error happens for now. So i open one to change and export it... and i open the other and it is not available anymore by the toolset, i can browse whatever appearance type its not there. Ok i think i can just leave the change to the first and close everything down.



So i do builder to player again. And what happens in game. The first placeable is visible and the second is not. But.. except for one savegame where everything works.



So what to do? Is every number i try just allowed to use this long before it gets bugged out or some?

I think i can fix this

I compared the 2 with loading it in the toolset from the files. The one which doesnt work has "IsBodyBag" set at 184 ? The one which works at 0.



You dont even need to save the placeable ,when the appearance type bugs out. The exporter will set this "IsBodyBag" thing regardless.. I have tried, and now it set it to value 88. Does everyone else have to live with that? Setting it to 0 fixes the placeable.

Or another fix. Restart the toolset before exporting each placeable. It doesnt matter the slightest thing breaks it. Now one suddenly got a value of 16 in the BodyBag entry, i changed nothing.

Forget that, restarting doesnt help all the time. I just opened the toolset and exported without opening the placeable, and it got that bodybag again. I havent changed that 2nd placeable since...
