I don't like the way they set it up... whenever there's two choices you get either Paragon/Neutral or Neutral/Renegade. neutral being the middle option, of course. yet sometimes if you go with "neutral", you still get Renegade points.. so I don't get it. why bother with a middle choice in that case? it should be only top and bottom, Paragon and Renegade. am I right? I can't be the only one a little bothered by this
what's up with the screwy dialogue wheel??

I personally like that there isn't always a paragon/renegade response because not every situation is going to be black and white, and there should be a middle neutral answerWonderllama4 wrote...

^ but don't you see... "neutral" usually isn't neutral! it's actually renegade. you get renegade points. that's the problem

^constructive....
*cough* I think the issue you may be seeing is supposed to be related to Shepard's state of mind (or assumed state of mind in the dialog). If Shepard has been wronged or looking at something that from his storyline view point can only be seen as a negative thing he can either be neutral or aggressive about it, he doesn't get a positive option because for whatever reason he can't have a positive reaction in the case.
This is my best guess as to the source of these PN or NR only choices. The same question could be asked of any time where he only has PR choices or only an N response.
