Ok I like to stretch my games out by playing multiple characters up to certain levels or break points in the game then going back to bring more characters to that point before moving on.
At this point in time I'm debating whether to make a push to finish DA:O prior to Awakenings release or to just continue at my normal snails pace leaving much of the late game unexplored until I have a dozen or more characters past the half-way point to choose from for my first finish or two.
My question is simply whether or not there are likely to be situations and/or information given to me in the course of playing Awakenings that might spoil things in DA:O for me if I have not finished it yet. I suspect there will be but I have purposely avoided seeking even general information about Awakening thus far to avoid spoilers.
At my current pace it would likely be Mid-summer or even Fall before I got around to finishing DA:O but I might be up for a break by playing Awakenings (with a new character) when it's released but only if doing so would not spoil me for the finish of DA:O.
Again I have not taken any characters all the way through DA:O yet and do not wish to see spoilers for either DA:O or Awakenings!
TIA
Finish DA:O first before starting Awakening or not? (No spoilers please)

If you're planning on finishing an Origins playthrough at some point, I would recommend finishing that before playing Awakening. There would be some spoilers otherwise. As a fellow spoiler hater, I wouldn't want to hear your cries of anger all the way in Edmonton.

You don't need to finish Origins to play Awakening. It's ideal if you do, and you can still import your character. If your character is too low a level you'll get a level bump and some fancy new gear (cha-ching). You'd be higher level and with better gear if you finished Origins, but you'll be equipped enough to tackle Awakening.
