Three of those sections utilize DLC items that are only available with the Dr. Pepper promotion, a promotion that is not available anywhere outside of the United States. Seeing as I'm British, those items are pretty irrelevant when it comes to thinking about armour. Not to mention I don't wear any head gear anyway.
You missed the numerous threads on Dr Pepper codes, anyone can get those 3 items. I'm using Recon hood and matching all black armor for that stealthy look on my insanity infiltrator playthrough.

I find the visor pretty indespensible, even when I'm not a sniper. It's not that hard to shoot people in the head. And, stats aside, I like the way it looks the best.

It's purchased on the Krogan homeworld-- either from the guy who sells the Death Mask, or the doctor back past the varren pit.

So an infiltrator would want headshot bonus wherever possible, and shield bonuses as well.

infiltrator wants the headshot helmet, storm speed legs are pretty handy (stealth and run the hell away), other than that its wep dmg or, if you've got the widow, maybe the extra ammo pieces.

I would take shield over health any time, because if your shields are down, you want to wait in cover until they are up again, at least on Insanity.

not sure the exact layout but overall the bonuses are:
5% wpn damage
5% shields
10% ammo cap
15% health
I maybe off by 5% on the health. This is the layout I use for the suicide run w/my solider. Also with Geth Shielding as my extra power, when my shields are down I just kick'em on and stay in the fight. I have yet to try it on insanity but previous difficulty settings have held out.

yeah, soldier is the only class where stacking health is better than stacking shields, because their base health is very high. i think a lvl 8 soldier has more health than a lvl 30 vanguard, so for every else defense wise its better to stack shields. if survivability isn't a problem then wep dmg or power dmg depending on what you do more dmg with, and if widow then the ammo hands for that extra shot maybe.

There isn't really much difference between the various parts.

I use on my Sentinel:
Sentry Interface
Amplifier Plates
Aegis Vest
Off-Hand Ammo Pack
Ordinance Pack

For an Infiltrator the Stabilization Gauntlets (5% weapon damage) is better than Off-Hand Ammo Pack since you'll only get one extra shot with the Widow. SMG rounds are plenty as it is with the upgrades, and you'll rarely use pistols if you're consistent with the headshots. 5% more damage on Tempest and Widow is the best choice imo.
