Yeah, it doesn't rly matter it's a femshep, or a maleshep. Reading the title i thought this thread is about femshep having Tim child. But wat if during the event of ME1 Liara decided that Shepard too valubale specimen too lose, and "mindraped" him/her she had plenty of opportunities, while she insisted that shepard allow her to meld their minds. It will fit her profile as a scientist obssessed with the prothean...

Woah I think I'm on to something here!

Won't really work for female-Shepard players. I like to think they'd notice if they got knocked up.

Female Sheperd's could easily be pregnant in III and still operate at full capacity if it was still early in the pregnancy. Sadly Garrus can't impregnate you ladies... adoption?

I don't think a child with Liara would work out story-wise... first of all, it's been 2 years... I don't know how long the gestation period for an asari is but I doubt it's two years considering how similar they are to humans... and even if it was, she would be showing...

And if she had already had the kid before ME2, then why was she not pregnant in the comic, and lastly, if she had a newborn child with the man she loves, would she really risk that child's life by becoming an information broker and going after one of the most dangerous men/organizations in the galaxy?

Asari can reproduce with a male or female, of any species. Asari read the genetic code of their partners, and pass that along to their offspring. So it is possible, for Liara to have the baby of your fem-shep.

Stating by facts if you will. She could pull this off. Like I said she would have not told shepard about the baby. Instead she hide it away from view only later in ME 3 to find out. That shepard had a baby with her would just shock everyone. Remember liara's got money now and maybe she had the baby later on after redemption. I haven't had a chance to check out the comic, but I could definitely make senes of this story arc even with it.
Liara could have used her money and her power to hide the baby away even from the shadow broker, or even later on the shadow broker learns of the baby and then uses it against shepard and liara. I think this would make an awesome story. Oh, the possiblities!Posted Image

Three words: Don't do it. Having a child while Shepard is busy saving the galaxy isn't the most responsible thing to do. If there is to be any child, it should be completely optional. Characters having children out of a one night stand = :l

i don't know about you but i would like my shepard to have a child in mass effect 3. preferably a quarian-human child. This child would have a better immune system as well.

Just once I'd like to swing by these forums without stumbling across something disturbing. It's like people don't want Mass Effect 3; they want a Western-made version of RapeLay. In space.

Please read the codex - human DNA is toxic to Turians and Quarian, our food kills them.

YOU CAN NOT HAVE A BABY WITH TALI.

Our DNA is NOT compatible. They don't even share the same base componets, you'd be better off screwing a monkey and hoping for a humanzee, but you would still be disappointed.

Hmm...Intresting I was thinking this myself a couple days back,Bioware did say they would be concequinces if you didn't stay loyal to your ME1 LI.If this would happen I would be abit guilty by cheating on Ash for Miranda.

While the idea of Cerberus stealing Shepard's DNA / sperm / eggs when they rebuild him and making a super soldier like Miranda would solve the continuity issue, I still think ME4 should have a new character not related to shepard at all.

If Shepard is involved he should be like Anderson, ie the mentor.

If you really want to be a parent, don't forget you are the adoptive parent of Grunt, which was kind of underplayed in ME2.

Having a baby to take care of would certainly help explain the LI's bizarre behavior in ME2. Hell, on my Renage save play, Ashley showed upped, called my godly, was really affectionate, gave me a hug, then went into super **** mode, which totally reminded me why I killed her in every ME1 playthrough but the Renage one... And then she sends me a sappy letter, but doesn't follow through. At least Ashley is consistent, Liara has had a complete personality-ectomy. I don't see that being salvaged without some big reveal that she was actually an Asari super secret commando agent and everything she told you in ME1 was a lie. Or there's always time travel, but I'll err on the side of Occam's Razor.

If Bioware made my female PC get pregnant in any way, shape or form, I would send them a nice tasty box of cyanide cookies.

YOU HEAR THAT BIOWARE?! CYANIDE COOKIES!

I would like to adopt an entire clan of Krogans and be Clan Shepard, spreading across the galaxy destroying all who oppose the Krogans!

I'd like to see a piece at the end of the game like 30 years on where Admiral Shepard and his/her LI is surrounded by the grandkids/adopted Krogons/blue daughters or whatever. It would be a nice conclusion to the game.

Although I wouldn't want to see a "baby in the backpack" situation like you could have with Aerie in BG2. I'm not sure taking a new born baby into a swordfight is the most responsible parenting.

Bah... the kids gotta learn sometime...

Could be a story arc in another Mass Effect series (where you could bring up your choice of race). But I doubt it could be in ME3.

Wishful thinking. So the ME1 LIs show up and say btw you have a kid I didn't mention the last time we met...I doubt it.
