Well, if you are on the console you can make infinite money by putting an item in the junk section of your inventory and then go to a merchant and hit the Sell All Junk button at the same time (actually, slightly before) as the Sell Item button and it sells the item twice. You then buy it back and repeat.
Good places to grind?

In the Redcliffe Village area, you can let the villagers be killed off by Darkspawn, then kill them all yourself( I think you'd need a high level for this) so they can't steal your XP by mistake.

if your looking for a place to keep fighting, orzammar proving grounds, talk to the arms master and he'll set you up with a battle scaled to your level. i've done it a bunch of times and i don't think it ends...

There's only 4 or 5 battles in the provings. After you get the blood ring it is over. As far as I know there is no area where you can fight an infinite amount of enemies.

No, but live allies can....unless you let the undead kill them first.
