LOL! Pretty much the only sensible thing I've read here. Wow, this thread really got out of hand, didn't it? Anyhoo, film, literature, and television are chock full of characters with a sense of humor dealing with dark situations. Some examples would be Angel, the brothers on Supernatural, and the main characters of too many detective novels to count. I welcome that myself, and probably wouldn't stick around if it wasn't there. If it weren't for the humor, it would be a grim slog. I was thinking about walking away from the game during my first playthrough when I met Alistair. I've never been so glad to hear a joke in my life.

First of all, the Winchester's are awesome.

Anyway.........I think you're exactly right.

Also, to me Ander's seems the kind of guy that would have a sense of humor, just read his prfile, want's freedom, woman and alcohol. he seems the kind of hot headed, youngster who makes jokes at weird times, and I personally find that kind of humor hilarious.

Btw, am I the only one who gets a sneaking suspision that Anders is Wynne's son. He seems to have a similar personality to what I imagaine a young Wynne would be like.

Well if you use the toolset, you would know. Tells me how much you know about modding. The Guy said he thought it couldn't be done. Your posts reeks of your inability to apprehend the simple task of reading with understanding. I never said it was impossible to mod it, I found the fact you were proclaiming that you could easily do such a thing as downright arrogant and unnecessary and let's not forget unvalid to whatever claim you are trying to make.

Of course a modder can make it, cause the developers are using the same tools. What we're you expecting?

Good for Us PC users, but the console players are screwed if they don't like the Ander look. Glad you thought of that one too Bioware. Well the toolset is limited in when it comes to face morphs, cookie cutter. But the toolset is amazing at other things like moding armor and making quests, a the same time. I'll give the toolset that. In addition thank you for the toolset, its a love hate relationship to me with that, some things I hate, but some things I do love. I never thought I have a bioware person talk on one of these forums, which is really cool. Even though you and pretty much everyone is dis-ing me on forum, because I have an opinon that I don't like sanders so far. Its..... still pretty neat. Though I think your time be better spent on people on forums having trouble with the toolset. I swear nobody answers on that forum, which is really sad. Anyway back to the main topic

I should rephase. For once I like to see a character design that reflects personilty of the NPC and doesn't look like some mesh up put together in the last second. For the sake of looking different. For goodness sake, a modder had to redo the almost the entire NPC to so it match the bio story and personlity of the characters. 139 I think specificly, it sounds like he did your jobs for you. Some faces are just soo atrocious that it shakes your heads with shock just by looking at them. Example, Thomas with his disporational face, Arl Howel with his exaggarated noise, Arl Eamon with his exaggarated wide nose O_O and Ser Cauthrien with cheek gaunt so low and cheek bones so high and wide, and made me wonder if she was even human. Well not a very good lookin human, but I guess was. In addition she looked so weak and malnutritioned. Shes a knight who carrys a dual handed heavy
sword. It doesn't makes sense. Her looks didn't reflect her strong forceful domaint personilty. I can't believe D redone those faces for free. Ya should pay him or be thanking him for making it look better. I hope this time, the looks of NCP and side characters/companions are actually polished. Cause the work shows for itself in the last game, it wasn't.

Anyways, I think Anders will be a very interesting character and can't wait for Awakening to see more of him. Hopefully he is romanceable for us females  and I like his hair granted, coulda gotten rid of the earring XD but otherwise, no complaints about dear Anders

I think he looks more like Alister than Duncan, ok maybe the ideas team is looking at a rehash rather than a new idea in regauards to anders but as an ex soldier humour comes at anytime and often when you least expect it.

Seems cool actually seems very close the kind of mage I like playing. Sure I'm not possessed with being evil but I do not take the Chantry or anything faith based seriously. He seems like a nicer funnier version of Morrigan who gets on with people. I kind of hope Bioware throw a curve ball and make me hate him.

I'm pretty confident Awakening will deliver the same.

Well, once I recieve your payment I can begin considering you for the refund process. I appreciate your concern for my health but I don't generally find typing to be a strenuous activity. If you do, you might want to consult your physician before creating any future threads on message boards.

In DA: Origins unless you got enough approval you couldnt even understand the ''real'' story of your companions.



I believe Anders like jokes and quite talented also wanted by chantry but instead of being hardened by that , he find amusing side of this. But we may have a choice to make him ''harden'' like Alistair and Leliana.



He looks cool at trailer and about the looks , you have your own ''special'' warden character to design. Companion models cannot make everyone happy. Yes PC users have a chance to use mods about it, but I doubt console users will give the game a bad rating because they didnt like a companion's model. Its more about story really and we know very little about Anders.



Maybe after completing his personal quest (if he will have one ) you can change you idea.



But there is still 4 new companions we will encounter. Until game is out , nothing is certain unless Bioware gave away heavy spoilers about them.

Dog had a lot of depth for a dog. That's one freakishly smart dog.

Fine fine I jumped the gun on this one. Well guess we'll wait and see what happens. Maybe hes not too bad. I just got the first impression he looked like some generic character, I was expecting some new different new style, since this is an expansion. Though I hope they do. I like to see more custom options from bioware. I'm sure bioware will deliver in the end, like they did with DAO gameplay wise. I probably shoudn't get too caught up on appearances, thats why theres a modding community
