For the last couple of weeks, if I start DA:O without being connected to the internet (ie Xbox LIVE and the DA:O servers) my game can't find the Edge.

This means that trying to load any save game will result in the info that the game couldn't find The Edge.

However, if I'm logged on to LIVE & the DA:O servers, then it's loaded and I can load any save game. And if my LIVE disconnects (which it usually does, my wireless is shifty) then it's ok, the game has already loaded the Edge and everything works.

That means, if my internet would go down, I won't be able to play DA:O (unless I start a completely new character, I think that should work). Is there any way to get the Edge to stay in the memory or has it always worked like this, with it being loaded only after connecting to the DA:O servers?
