To make this one short:
I want EA/Bioware to release their DLC for DA:O as a retail version.
I really enjoyed "The Stone Prisoner" for DA:O because it really added value to the game. But since I am a little bit "old school" in this respect, I refuse to buy "Warden's Keep" or "Return to Ostagar" because I do not get a manufactured, original disc.
Other studios have released DLC Packs (e.g. Bethesda with "Fallout 3" and "Oblivion") and I would be happy to buy a complete pack (with all the add-ons (incl. "The Stone Prisoner") and promotional items, the toolset with, perhaps some video tutorials (reminds me of the "Unreal Tournament" series), the "Sacred Ashes" trailer that was sorely missed on the Collector's Edition Video DVD, ...).
This could also include a selection of the best community projects (see what CD Projekt did with "The Witcher - Enhanced Edition").
I know that this thread might be a little bit to late for an inclusion on the "Awakening" disc, but who says that this one has to be the only expansion for DA until the eventual release of Dragon Age 2?
People who have already bought some DLC could "buy back" Bioware points with a registration code coming along with the retail disc ...
Just my two cents, but I'd really like to see something like that to put on my shelf to make my Dragon Age experience a complete one.

I want to see the DLC in retail packs. I can't buy points, which pisses me off.

same here, but i guess that would make the dlc's cost more.

Noobius_Maximo, how come you can't buy points?
As for the topic, maybe they'll do it, but probably not for a year or so. If ever; I'm not at all certain its going to be worth it to manufacture such discs in the future, given the way broadband penetration's come up.
