I tend to name my dogs after my cat, Fuff. I've used Fuffian and Fuffiel for dogs belonging to elves, and Ser Fuff for my human noble owned dog. Sometimes I go with just Fuff.

Female human noble - Anastasia (historical references!) I don't remember her dog's name but I know it meant 'warrior' or something like that in Russian. She's a rogue duelist.

Female Dalish elf - Freya: a human-hating, evil woman.

Female city elf - Adaia (after her mother) she loves her two handed weapons.
