I just finished playing Witcher 2, I starting to play DAO. I took one look at what Dog and I thought "that is the canine embodiment of Letho!!" Sooo I went back and started up a new human rogue and named him Geralt (I even tried to make him look like Geralt)  and called his dog Letho. *laughs*

Weird. Every RPG character I've ever made just has my name. I know I'm supposed to give him some traditional fantasy name like "Cahl'Bhan" or "Aralarr" but for some reason I just don't connect with a character in the same way unless it has my name. Anyone else find this?

Yeah same goes for me, but I recently found an easy way to fix that problem. Spell your name differently

Example: Michael = Mikal

Ooooh, I have a problem with making characters haha. The ones I've finished the game on though are:

Civele - Dalish Elf (f) - Sword & Board Warrior
Nirra - Dwarf Commoner (f) - Two-Handed Warrior
Desdele - City Elf (f) - Dual Wield Rogue
Damien - Human (m) - Healer & Crowd-Control Mage

I'm debating what I should try next, though.

I'm the same way, except I normally use my nickname for gaming characters ... JMB.  But, for DA:O, I felt that wouldn't really fit such an epic storyline, so I named him JayEmmBee.

Liam Cousland - Male Human Noble Warrior. (sword and shield)

Baehan Tabris - Male City Elf Warrior (sword and shield).(Pronounced Bay-han, a name I made up. My interpretation of the meaning of the name is "one who is helpful".)

Kethel Brosca - Male dwarf commoner Rogue (dual-wield) (Pronounced Keth-el.A name I made up, which later I found out was a place in Holland.My
interpretation of the meaning of the name is "foot of the mountain")

Lorna - This character (female) was made a couple times as both elf origins and I think at least once as a human.

Alyka Cousland - Female Human
Noble Rogue (dual-wield).I think I also made Alyka twice before; once as a human warrior and once as a female elf.(Pronounced A- lie-ka .My variation of the name Alika.My interpretation of the meaning of the name is "strong warrior")

Ultess Amell - Female Human Circle Mage. (Pronounced Uhl-tess.A name I made up.My interpretation of the meaning of the name is "powerful one".)
