Money.
If you don't follow the map pointer, and go to all the side rooms you can hear his entries about money and not being appreciated and how much he is worth.
Why did Wilson betray us again?

While I can go with the simple version and follow the money trail (i.e. the line of log entries that show Wilson is disgruntled) I find that the money trail is a tad to obvious. While I don't think trusting anyone in Cerberus is a good idea, I'm not 100% sure that Wilson was the problem. Not saying that Miranda was either, however, what's to stop TIM from setting them all up. If they fail, they all die, end of story.

maybe it was jealousy; when i read the different logs during the mission,i got the impression that he felt like he did not get the respect he deserved as a scientist an the attention he wanted from miranda, who dedicated all her time to cerberus and shepard. So i guess this was a way for him to get petty vengeance

i always wondered if Wilson was trying to kill you when you are starting to regain consciousness too early. Miranda scolds Wilson for miscalculating, this might imply he did it on purpose.
But yeah, Killing SHEP seems less likely than Killing all Cerberus operatives and then delivering SHEP to Collectors. I think this is accurate because Wilson says "They are out of control" As if the mechs were previous in his control. He lost control over his own plan and then needed saved.
its just speculation but maybe

I think Wilson was trying to sell off Shepard and the secrets to the Lazarus Project. I think it was a money thing.
Then again, he could have been an anti-Cerberus terrorist. Killing off Shepard to promote alien supremacy?
I'm just happy the Voice of Steve Blum revived me. Err.
Matthews, the guy on the bridge that always chats, is also voiced by Steve Blum. You get a daily dose of Blum no matter how you play the game. Well, unless you play it without sound, I guess.

Wilson betrayed Cerberus and tried covering up his track. He claims he was shot in the leg when he was attacked by mechs. Overload would only hit a single mech so how did he kill the other mechs and not leave bodies? How is it that you can get there 3 seconds later and find no remains or scorch marks from a battle? Most mechs aim for the torso so how did he get hit in the leg? Those just don't add up and put a ton of doubt on his story. How is it that he knew that an army of mechs was where Miranda was unless he sent them? It is mentioned he felt underappreciated for the amount he was paid so he most likely staged the event to kill you or steal your body to sell for ransom or just sell it to the Collectors.
Miranda is impulsive about removing traitors. It is shown in her loyalty quest and so it is obvious that she thought Wilson was a traitor.

The Illusive Man probably told Wilson to set the drones to attack mode as a training exercise for Shepard. He also probably fed him information that Miranda was betraying them/evil/etc. and to set the drones to attack her as well.
At the same time, he probably told Miranda the opposite. That Wilson betrayed us, he tried to sabotage the Lazerus project, etc.
Either way the Illusive man gets what he wants.

if you check all of wilson's logs he seems to have a thing for miranda at one point he says something like
Shepared is alive maybe miranda will finally apprecite me. or something along those lines i think it's after you
save jacob on a bench close to you

There is also a log of Wilson saying something along the lines, "We are making good progress. Maybe Miranda will finally be grateful." It may seem petty, but I think he wanted to get into Miranda's pants, and when she shot him down, he decided to destroy everything she valued. Not the best explaination, but the best I can divine from the scarce evidence.

Review the mission log. That log is obviously not intended for Shepard (or any of the crew) to read, and it states Wilson is a mole.
This is the sole reason I enjoy the mission complete screens. They are a direct view of TiM's thoughts regarding the events that transpired, and considering some of the remarks made in them I doubt he censors his comments in anticipation of manipulation (though omissions of certain information is likely).

That earlier episode where you wake up early and nearly code..and you see Wilson right before Miranda shows up and has to ORDER Wilson to give you another dose of something to bring your stats back down. That looked very much like a botched attemt to kill you that Miranda was able to stop before he succeeded. Then she started investigating, so by the time the station is under attack and Miranda wakes you up, she has evidence, and knows it was Wilson.
There's enough evidence laying about, plus actuallys seeing Wilson in that aborted attempt, not to mention she had to order him to sedate you TWICE because he didn't follow the order the first time.
I don't know who subverted Wilson, but someone did, and he did make a first attempt on your life, and Miranda learned the truth and laid a trap for him. She obviously knew something would happen early enough to wake you before Wilson is able to succeed the next time. not only that, but when Wilson actually sees you once you find him during the attack, he acts all surprised that you're there, and he's sure in a hurry to ditch Miranda assuming she's dead.
Wilson is a murderer and he attempted to kill both you and Miranda. Money as a motive. All the evidence is there.
