Since BioWare has announced you can upload your old character from Origins to Awakening, I was wondering if weapons & armor from Origins transfer to Awakenings also? Sorry in advance if this topic has already been covered!

hmm, looks like I will have to unequip all the good stuff from my party members. Namely very expensive stuff like Lifegiver.pChar wrote...

So the storage chest seems useless in Awakening, but hey at least we will get the stuff in our inventory. Thank you so much for the help!

So when is the unequipping supposed to happen ? When you walk about in the great Hall after the Archdemon is killed?

Can't answer the first question without giving away too much.
Your PC will import into Awakening even if you are technically King/Queen of Ferelden. Your duty as a Grey Warden comes first.

Oh Good 
I was afraid I had to go back and change it - my last main got deleted through an unfortunate glitch in the game, so I had to redo the game to get my main into Awakening and the DLC's (can't really give away too much to me personally - I've already gone through everything available, lol)
Though I would think the storyline would be somewhat different? And for how Witch Hunt DLC can end.... hmm.... ;-)
