In the manual it states there is no hard level cap,however after playing around with the console commands my char could only reach level 25. Does anyone know for certain that this is the Max level?

I believe the no level cap refers to all of the content currently in game. They say you can only get to around level 22 by doing most of everything because the exp ramps up so high that you may never see level 23. So, I would assume that 25 is a cap that they felt no one could meet, essentially. Suppose it's always open that they may change that or I could be wrong Oh, the possibilities.

Yea...I didn't really do everything..but I felt I did do alot..and I only hit 19 before I beat the Archdemon...Either way..I'll be playing through this game again...and again...and again...and again....etc.

wow really? Your only around level 20 by the end of the game? That sucks. I was hoping atleast 30 or 40

don't worry though...the exp ramps up FAST..as well as the fact that it feels epic. at the end it isn't an easy fight, its always a struggle..and I think thats what makes this game one of the best I've ever played. Not to mention you are indeed ALOT stronger at 19 than you are at the beginning...And the unique armor sets help with that.

It does indeed cap out at 25. I no longer earn experience. This is strange, considering that we were told that there was no hard cap. I'm on the 360, so I'm not sure if it could be otherwise on the PC with console commands.

so....i cannot get anymore exp so do u think that they will end up increasing the level cap i knopw u could go rly high on kotor and such but lvl 25 is rly low i am already at it haha sooo yea.....i hope they let us go higher sooner more than later

idk, I don't think 25 is that low of a level cap, I don't see how you reach it doing the normal quests and sidequests.

I did the same with the console commands. I reached level 25. I then finished the quest for the arl of redcliff. I then leveled up. Well, I had the option of leveling. When I opened the character page and leveled, I stayed at 25, but I had the option to add a new spell (using a mage). No points for strength, magic, cunning, etc ... no point for the "feats". Just one point for selecting a new magic. Take this for what it's worth.

That's part of the game. I wasn't fooling around with the console and I got it too.
