Some of them seem to be done using Signature Maker. I havent used that software in two years, so do not know what goodies the newest version lets you make. But many of the signatures remind me of that.

Aaah, now i see... they've limited the possible size for the image...bummer.. ah well.. i've redone it and i think it came out okay ^^ .. feel free to comment
Sorry for the late reply. Yes, it seems the forum caps image sizes. That's a good thing though in my opinion. Otherwise you always end up with at least one person who insists on having signatures that take up the whole screen in both directions
Oh and hte signature does look good. Maybe the text could have a tad more contrast to the background, but not sure it would need that. I do like it the way it is, a lot

Mirrors on a site are alternative sites from where you can download a file. This way they reduce the load one site has and increase the download speed for everyone.
You can choose to download a file from the site itself or any of the Mirrors. They all are the same file.

This info is from this thread:Shiroukai wrote...
It's formatted for fitting in the new
size limit, it's 34*450 pixels. Although 34*500 might be fine as well,
but I didnt test it.
Signature Images (DAO) - sample
Dunno if the info was ever confirmed. Confirmation would be cool. I might give that Sig Maker thing a try.

So, I feel a bit embarrassed asking this question, but how do you set your signature in your profile? I really can't find the options to edit it. Like I said, probably a terrible question, but thank for your help in advance!
try the Forum Settings from your profile

Thanks for the heads-up! This wasn't completely intuitive, though perhaps that's solely my experience

I can't get signature maker to open. Is it a windows 7 issue?
No idea. Since the new version is no-vista and I am using vista at the moment, I haven't used it.
But there are dozens of other similar programs, just open the search engine of your choice and put as keywords a selection of the following:
forum signature userbar creator maker
you should be spoiled for choice. Some are more comlex than others.

The Userbar Designer!
But one aspect that concerns me is that it says it can be saved to an 'image hosting site'. Is it possible to save it to my computer instead? (So it can then be uploaded to my Album, then from there, placed in my Sig?) I don't use any image hosting sites, & don't wanna need one just for a sig pic.

Looking at it now.
Hmm, seems it automatically uploads to imagehost. Which means you'll have to download it from imagehost afterward. No probelm. Just view the image online and right-click on it. You should either get a View Image option or a Save Image As option. If you get the view, click that and you'll get the save afterwards
