morality choices from end game to continue to new game

If I play a "good" marality shepard in Mass Effect 2 and then take the option to import this character to a new ME2 game, there by being able to play new game with my current level and abilities, but instead I play a "bad" morality, will it affect the good descisions I made on my first play through when I import and start Mass Effect 3? I don't want to screw up the good karma I have with the galaxy!!

They count as different characters with the same name, so as long as you can remember which is which you should be fine
