Why do people assume she'll be a squad mate? The reason for her NOT being recruitable in the first place is so that she lives on for ME3 as cannon. The DLC concerning her is probably something to do with her Shadow Broker hunt
Ah, yes. Good thought. I actually liked that.Larask wrote...

Yeah I agree with you. I doubt she will become a squad member. But I think some people are referring to her becoming a temporary squad member, for the DLC only. It would be cool, but a bit confused. What would be more appropriate is to have her in the mission, (like a squad) but not actualy controling as you do with the others. For example, think back at Garrus recuiting mission. In the beginning he was fighting with you but you didn't have him at your squad. Something similar to that would fit the story well.
As long as you could bring her along for fights, I wouldn't mind.dipdunk wrote...
Would everyone still want Liara on their team if she was stuck with 'click for monologue' or 'ask me about my stuff' a la Zaeed and Kasumi?

Don't you guys think that the story parts that were probably meant for a DLC are being used in the redemption comics?
I certainly don't think we will have both the comics and a DLC describing the same events.
Edit: i see this has been discussed ad nauseam. Sorry 'bout that.

I really hope there is a DLC involving Liara. She was seemingly obsessed with Shepard in the first game but in ME2 seems uncaring and has an insignificant role. Also, I may want more of Liara because of my fan boy crush on her

I get a feeling that Liara gets into a romantic relationship with that drell at the end of redemption, which might explain her coldness to shep if you romanced her and her obsession on saving her 'friend'. It'd be funny if the drell turned out to be the shadow broker

Strong rumor, of course, considering the headers on those files that keep coming up in this conversation.
Also, the little group of Liaramancers I belong to are attempting to use our telepathic powers on Casey and Mac to get them to realize that they didn't do the emotional-revelation scene very well, and they should at least animate a silent hug option for Shep. (Note to those involved -- we're not really seriously considering flaying them alive. With our minds. Right?....
EDI: That was a joke.)
