As I am crossing my fingers on ANY DLC which might come our way I am also hoping for this one... ALTHOUGH I liked Kaiden and Ash as LI's much more than Liara... I don't know... talking to her in ME1 is like talking to a naive 16 year old... and talking to her in ME2 is like talking to a angry 16 year old...
Normally I just thought Liara was annoying as I cannot believe. She irritated me to the point where I would get to her dialog and just walk out of the room until it was over. But, on doing her mission in ME1 last I found her to be somewhat charming...somewhat. She made me laugh, especially when she said something like 'what good would a hallucination be except to give false hope?' I felt kinda bad for her there. She had a bit of humor there which I think helped. It was funny though.
More than anything I just wish they did not have her so stone cold. I don't care that she loved, worshipped Shepard or whatever. It just seems wrong that she is so willing to kill. She snapped. It just doesn't fit.

I can imagine neither BioWare nor it's fans want this aspect of the Mass Effect universe to be resolved in an hour or less, especially when the conflict between Liara and the Shadow Broker can be so much more. I'd pay a decent amount of Microsoft space bucks for some sort of mini-campaign, which may or may not be after the main game, in which Liara and perhaps one or two others will be temporary allies with Loyalty Powers that carry over to the main game. Feron would pretty much be a given, getting rescued in the first of the missions in the pack. Add an armor or two, some research, a new Heavy Pistol and a new Heavy Weapon and there'd be enough content to justify a prize of 1600 MSP.

But it would also be a spoiler for the "cheating consequences" that have been hinted at for ME3, Chances are not-so-good then.....................

If they make a Liara centric DLC, 10 gets you 20 it is a post mission DLC. That's the only way it could "fit" into the story and not leave huge plot holes.

Good thing I never cheated on Liara, then... :innocent:

Finally caught an issue of ME:R #3 comic today.
All I will say is Liara's anger toward the Shadow Broker.... It makes a whole lot of sense now.
I may just take the a renegade points whenever we do get this mission. Holding Liara back might be just a wee bit unhealthy.

This LI-affecting action (And it would have to be for Kaidan and Ashley as well, although I support Liara wholeheartedly) cannot be contained within DLC alone. Download-wise, it is just too big (Otherwise we'd go berserk for waiting for a pathetic "hack these terminals, shoot these mercs in this warehouse" song-and-dance. And the offline players wouldn't be able to purchase it. It would screw up the continuity of the LIs in Mass Effect 3.
No, what we need is an expansion. Like Dragon Age: Awakening. Something along those lines. A massive, 12-hour gaming experience.
But, ultimately, I'd rather wait for the beautiful relationship and continuation beyond the first infatuation days that most video games remain in to come to bloom in the final installment, rather than see the relationship trashed by DLC or expansion. Because then, when they make the next game, they have to factor in who just didn't get the DLC. That would affect it greatly. So, in conclusion, unless done perfectly, I'd rather keep Liara alive in my heart and mind until we are gloriously reunited with epic music and much dialogue.
And maybe we'll space Feron. Just because.

And I am with everyone who was disappointed with Liara's 180, but I have confidence that BioWare will fix it. BOTH Liara and Ashley acting like jerks? Has to be on purpose
I think that this DLC will be worth waiting for!
