I doubt she's joining the crew unfortunately. I'd like to be proven wrong though
Nope.
IF, and this is extremely unlikely as well, but if the DLC is a bridge between the comic and the game, we might get a playable Liara. There is already precedent with the Joker scene, so this isn't necessarily as crazy as it sounds.
This would allow you to decide Liara's motivation in bringing you back, whether she still loves you or not, etc (discussing Shepard with some other character, the filthy desert Lizard perhaps?). And some kicking biotic combat against Shadow Broker's mooks. A taste of Liara, before we hopefully get her back in our squad in ME3.
A flashback DLC without many scenes with a playable Shepard? Would be a bold move for Bioware, but one I would applaud them for. It would also offer a future fanservice options for the fans of the ME2 squaddies, who will be inevitably sidelined from the ME3 squad. For example, get to play as Tali or Garrus during their exploits outside of Shepard's squad in ME3, where in the normal story they only get a cameo.
Hmm... This idea has potential. But if it turns out to be true, I do hope the Virmire survivor gets a similar DLC. A characterization heavy mission against a geth remnant with Ash/Kaidan as the leader of a marine team?
Argh... If only. I'll need to reel in my expectations now. It won't happen.

I just want more Liara and some closure. The Ashley/Kaidan fans got that, Liara was a lot more up in the air. That worries me. I'd love some Liara DLC where this is explored.
Closure is fine for those who want it. I'm more interested in BW living up to the "you can continue your ME1 romances" part (even if we all did know that was just PR speak even then).

I thought that shake of her head was explained in game, in which she explains that she was worried Shepard would hate her. If you watch her reaction when Shepard first walks into her office, she looks happy and surprised at first, rushes to kiss Shepard in her happiness and joy to see him/her, but then during the kiss her anxiety about Shepard's feelings for her wells back up again and she pulls out of the kiss.

Yeah, this sounds better than Liara shook her head b/c she really wishes it was Feron she was kissing.

Yeah I don't see it much at this point. I think BW is better than to deliberately sucker punch the character after everything else they have already done, though that faith has been sorely tested.

My only concern is, if we tie up a lot of stuff in DLCs for ME2, what is going to be left for ME3 to do other than kick reaper butt?

Feron as in the Drell that helps her in the comics? Does this mean threw the comics events she falls in love with another man and now has feelings for him and not me D:!?

That is certainly an impression they try and leave you with in ME2, though I doubt it is the case.

The next DLC will probably have something to do with that Kasumi[sp] chick I think she is human.
Or the hammerhead, or both... also we got the Cerberus Armor to come our way at some point too

No, no, no. It's just some people erroneously speculated that was the reason why she is cold and distant, before people then found that dialogue option in which she opens up to Shepard again and explains that she couldn't let Shepard go.
She doesn't have feelings for Feron, she's hopelessly attracted and attached to Shepard.

Ok thats what I thought, because I go threw all of the options when I talk to everyone and thats what the impression gave me, that she still loved me. I thought there was even more.

Well considering how much Reaper butt needs kicking I think it will be okay if we focus on that for the third game.Sir Ulrich Von Lichenstien wrote...
Ok so despite my earlier ramblings bout people not having patience, I got to thinking after that about how some of the DLC talk has been of 'chapters' and what not... and then got to thinking, about how we got the whole 'after the suicide mission' section. So am now in agreement that they might tie up the whole SB thing in 'post end' chapter DLCs.
My only concern is, if we tie up a lot of stuff in DLCs for ME2, what is going to be left for ME3 to do other than kick reaper butt?
Sheperd: Lets go pay a visit to the Shadow Broker.
Joker: You sure about that the Reaper fleet just popped up, they are already torching Illium and moving to the Citadel pretty quickly.
Sheperd: The Shadow Broker has to pay...
Joker: Alright lets go.
(After visiting Shadow Broker)
Sheperd: The galaxy is now safe from the underworld menace.
Joker: Captain, I just got word that the Citadel has fallen, billions are dead and by all accounts the Reapers are heading for Earth next. What are we going to do.
Sheperd: You talk with IDI, I am going to have a glass of Serrice Ice Brandy with Doctor Chakwas followed by vigorously shagging Liara.
Joker: But we could all be dead within the hour.
Sheperd: Good point, change that to vigorous shagging with Morinth.

No worries. I was just agreeing with your interpretation of the head shaking scene.
