In ME1 I would have said Paragon, but ME2 made Renegade actions so much fun that I find myself unable to resist the temptation ninety percent of the time.

I think that's one instance where it doesn't make much sense actually. I mean, during your visit on Purgatory if Garrus is with you he'll comment on some prisoner who gets some awful beating, how it's poor interrogation technique becaues the victim would tell just about anything to stop. So when it actually works for Shepard because it's player's character... meh.abisha wrote...

nothing beats when you are in the C-Sec interigation room, and this Guy acting all though, so you punch him, and punch him again, and again.....sudden have made it epic till he cry's for you to stop

I prefer renegade, especially in ME1 when paragon often felt way too idealistic for me, but I don't dislike paragon by any means. ME2 paragon was much better done imo. I find renegade to be a more realistic mindset in most cases considering Shepard is a hardened marine who has been through a lot even before the first game begins and is tasked with saving the galaxy from certain doom repeatedly. Do we really have time to be polite to every idiot asking us to hold his hand? And why would you NOT shoot people threatening your life?

ME and ME2 I play a mix Paragon (100)/ Renegade (20).
The story just makes more sense to me if I do it like that. Also Zaeeds mission is awsome when you play as a Paragon.

Paragon is more to my view of the character, BUT, renegade has soooo many fun moments. Plus, full renegade is damn hard. It's hard to get 100% renegade in order to solve some problems (tali vs legion fight comes to mind) And some of the renegade choices are well, REALLY cold.
60/40 para/renegade is a nice mix. Good guy/gal tries to do the right thing, but doesn't take s**t, Does not suffer fools, Because you know, some people just need to have their asses kicked. But can show mercy and compassion when needed.
Plus the glowing eyes starts to bother me after awhile.

Most of the time I play paragon but at some moments I choose renegade because its just badass.
For example the moment in ME2 when that krogan speaks about creating a new Krogan empire etc. and you push the renegade button and shepard just shoots the pipe and says: "You talk too much". Just awesome and I kind thought the same. He DOES talk too much.
Otherwise I dont choose renegade that much. Full renegade Shepard is a big jerk and sounds like the sort of person who has some serious problems.
