I've got it into my crazy head to play a 2 handed warrior, and I want to use a party setup I've never used before. Zevran, Wynne, Morrigan. I'm curious what armor to use for 2 handed though. I've read that lighter armors tend to be better for stamina use, but I am not sure if that changes when that 2 handed user is the only warrior in the party?

Thanks :)

Juz go all out cc/dps with all his knockdown/disable talents. So grab -fatigue gear like blood dragon, or wades medium/heavy set. With 2 mages, he can handle himself.

It depends on the armor. I usually travel with Leliana, Wynne and Morrigan with my tank being the only one who can really take much damage, and so I prefer for him to wear massive plate, with armor sets that provide a reduction in fatigue, or stamina regen. The Blood Dragon and Wade's superior armor sets are favorites of mine, though I haven't tried everything.

After the patch I thought blood dragon armor no longer has fatigue reduction? or is the Wikia wrong?

Chainmail has fatigue reduction for the new/cash-strapped adventurer. With only one warrior, though, you should really go for Massive armor. Wade's Superior heavy/massive armors have really nice fatigue reduction and the fire resistance is great especially if you can get it during the Deep Roads and you use a lot of fire spells. The Juggernaut and Legion sets are great for a tank, so's the Blood Dragon set (especially the first version with -fatigue). Wade's light/medium might also be nice for Zev--it's Momentum-friendly armor.

In my first playthrough (Nightmare mode), I used Wynne, Morrigan and Leliana + my dwarf commoner warrior/berserker/champion Balduran, totally DPS specced and geared with Yusaris 2h sword, Blood Dragon armor AND Blood-Gorged Amulet (+12 Constitution -3 Strength -3 Willpower, dropped by a Hurlock Emissary in Cadash Thaig).

With his huge health (492 at lvl21) and armor + Wynne healing (helped sometimes by Morry) I didn't even need to have a tank in my party

Massive armor is only needed if you're going to tank. As a 2Her you can tank just fine but lose out a little on DPS. Wades Sup. Heavy with Evons is perfect for a 2Her. Starfang go!

I went with Dragonbone Plate for my 2h warrior. You will have plenty stamina once you get death blow.
