Seriously?  Miranda was modeled after Yvonne Strahovski and she is frickin' gorgeous.  I'd give both kidneys just to be in the same room as her.

Why take the mystery out of the Quarian? Every gamer has their own image of what Tali looks like. Revealing her face would most certainly ruin somebody's fantasy. I'd rather not see her face. Ever. That's just my opinion though.

Agreed, the mystery of her looks adds to the coolness of Tali and the Quarian race. I thought it sucked to see Boba Fett's face being that he's a clone of his father.

The mystery is part of Tali's charm, and in general a part of the Quarians as a race. Also, remember that no matter how Bioware designs them, it would never be good enough and a lot of people would be disappointed. They'd either be too human-like or too wierd.

Better that they remain a mystery to the players...

I think they have to show it, if only for closure. It wouldn't have mattered what she looked like if she hadn't have been included as a character with an intimate/close relationship development option for either M or Fsheps. Personally, I didn't care what she looked like until they brought her back for ME2.

I wasn't a huge fan of Tali in the first ME but after playing through the second game, she was pretty cool, and the quarians in general are interesting to me now. Hopefully Tali will make it into ME 3 as a squad member and won't end up with the same treatment Liara got.



Liara's character just was sort of laughable. I don't care what she went through in a four part comic book, the character just seems like she doesn't fit the whole espionage/dark feel they were going for. Her drawn on eyebrows, which no other asari have, always bugged me too.



But...this is a Tali thread, so back on track I go. It would be nice to see the character's face in the third game, since it will round up the story of the trilogy. And if you don't like the mystery ending, then just reskin the face texture or wait for someone to mod her face, or make a mod where she wears the helmet all the time. The helmet wearing all the time does get a little old and she'll never build up her body's resistances without taking the darn thing off! Quarian's don't make much sense like that, I guess it's why I thought they were goofy in ME 1.

Tali has a face. No matter what you or I imagine, in the end her face is. Id rather see her true face than pretend its something else entirely.
