I know on the collector ship you can pick up either a new weapon to learn how to use or specialize in a particular class of weapon (like the widow, the claymore or the heavy machine gun). Does anyone know if it is possible to do this twice? For example, could I pick up the sniper rifle, and in the next playthrough decide to specialize with the widow or even get another gun?

Also, I'm not sure if this is possible, but does anyone know if you can replace a weapon you already have (like SMG) with another weapon (like an assault rifle)?

You can only get the weapon upgrade once per character. if you've already done it, the oppurtunity won't be there.

No but you can specialize to use weapons that you normally would not be able to, ex vanguard being able to use sniper and or machine gun.

I was so pissed when i got to the collector ship on NG+ and the pile of weapons didnt give me anything...
