*Raises Hand*

I didn't even touch these forums prior to beating ME2. On my first playthorugh, I managed a perfect Final Mission. I thought "Wow, that seemed too easy, It's just doing the sidequest I guess." Then I come on here to find people with 6 deaths and no crew who seemingly had all loyal.

What I'm trying to say is.
Nyah, I'm special! Posted Image

I thought Thane would be a great vent-crawler.

I thought Samara would be a good squad leader since she's so old.

I was wrong. Poor Thane.

Everyone else got out alive, though. You really have to use some common sense on the squad selection, rather than getting cutesy.

PC Version! If only ME had Dragon Age's system. I could just show the automatic screenshots.

then in that case, "your words are as empty as your future" (i.e. your "word" holds no value without any possibility to prove what youre saying)

I did, but it wasn't hard.

To get my whole team and myself killed though, took me 2 characters... Man the last few lines our commander says before she dies is pretty moving.

I know a lot of people who play BW games are like that, then they think Thane makes a good squad leader. Posted Image

I did. It just seemed to be all about making logical choices based on the situation (and having all or mostly loyal squaddies).

I got everyone out alive. Legion as my venter and Jacob as my squad leader. Everyone had loyalty though. I was under the impression loyalty was key...I guess not seeing these comments...hmm..

Tag - Guiltl3ss for the prove.

SharpEdge, I just posted a link asking this question. Would you respond over there with what you did and who your choices were?

Thanks.

I got it as well. I had pretty much been aiming for it, making sure to prepare thoroughly and choosing carefully from what I knew of the characters. First playthrough took me 55½ hours.

I did. But I felt sorta dirty for getting it since only the good doctor survived from the crew. But my whole team went in and out ok. I felt like it was sorta obvious that Jacob, Miranda, and Garrus were the best leaders and Legion/Tali were the best tech people.

Well I guess I sorta lucked out with Garrus I just presumed he would be a good leader after leading his team on Omega.

I went completionist so I got all loyalties and all upgrades before I did the suicide mission. I'm surprised I got the no one left behind on the first shot.. while I didn't lose any squad members, I did take too long to rescue the crew and I lost like.. half the people.

I chose Legion as my tech because if he died.. well, I didn't care about him much. I picked Garrus for team leader as I thought he needed redemption for his.. whole losing his entire team thing both times and I chose Samara as biotic because I remember one of her descriptions described justicars as powerful as Asari Matriarchs. I also picked Jacob to lead the survivors because he's a soldier and I never use him anyway.

i did. i had heard that a lot of people had trouble keeping Mordin alive, but i kept him in my main squad the whole game anyways, so no difference there. i was honestly a bit disappointed. i expected to have to have a couple goes at the Suicide Mission before success.

I did. It was easy to do. No forum help at all. It gives you the hints on how to do it. Tech specialist was Tali, garrus for leader because it states he led his own merc team, Jacob for escort, Jack for biotic specialist, and Miranda to lead the defense. Just make sure you read everyone's strengths on the selection screen. Having Thane go through the vents is a huge mistake. He has no tech. Having grunt as a leader is a big mistake, he has no leadership. Having Miranda do biotic field is a mistake, she's not a pure biotic like Jack or Samara.

It's not that difficult to get that done, it does help a lot to read a) the tips from the loading screens (seriously) and B) the squad member's description when you have to choose someone for a particular task. Figuring out what needs to be done when the time comes doesn't require magic or so....
