I am using the ATI X1950 Crossfired

I am having weird issue with Textures.

The textures for Gauntlets and Helmets are great with fine details but the texture for body (as in torso) armor is incredibly blurry.

Is this normal? or am I  having a graphic problem?

I am at work so don't have any screenshots handy.

[Edit]
I have the game on Very High Detail and High Texture.  AA is off.

I do not get the images in the sample screenshots on the official website.  The torso armor is completely blurry.

hi mate

like yourself, I am running a hi-end GPU (GTX 295) with a 3.8 Ghz i7 920, 6 Gb ram etc. The game is slick, settings are as high as I can get them, the detail/textures on the players are good BUT the textures/LOD of the scenery is shocking!

There have been several posts about graphics. One post in particular (which had around 20+ pages) was split between bad graphics & good graphics. Worth noting though, the majority of the graphically satisfied were console users. I guess BIOWARE had to keep the majority happy?

A classic example is the wooden cart texture that is found in various locations.

There is a rumour of a HD texture mdo that is being put togehter but for life of me i cannot find it?

so to answer your question...its not your rig, its the game.

i'm hangin gon for a HD fix efore I really commit and get stuck into DA:O.

good luck

The HD Textures mod now seems to be exclusively served by DragonAgeNexus.
