My only complaint about the DLC is that I would have liked more stuff for rogues. At least RtO had some nice light gloves, but I have more massive armor than I could ever possibly need. Some light armor and a bow would be nice. I would love to see new new textures on light armor, and new meshes for light armor and mage robes. Will we be seeing new textures and meshes in Awakening?

What I told you to buy was some Sani-Flush and a good scrubber. Geez.
LMAFFAO!!! AWESOME!

EDIT: But if you actually want to get really bad Bioware DLC (Which is impossible now, unless the DLC is on PC) you should have gotten the free DLC for KOTOR. It breaks the game.

Yeah, remember how every developer ever would just make a game and then move on to the next project instead of providing any extra content for the game they just made because it was just done?snake2895 wrote...
I remember when stuff like this would be free or included into the huge expansion packs for games.
Also, when patches had to be put on CD's and provided via magazines and were not on the net because the Internet didn't exist?
Great times!

RTO...a closure to the fallen king..found it strange that no one went back to bury the king or retrieve his belongings int he original story.
Stone Pris....Get an extra unique companion, a decent ring & dagger and a frustrating puzzle to solve.
Wardens Keep...A cool sidequest with a nice battle. Decent armor and accessories. A new vendor and a new smith that makes one of the best weapons in the game.
So what's to hate about all that?? It changes my game, gives me extra to do while waiting on a full expansion..I just don't understand your whine??

About Return to Ostagar.. well this one is not so bad, some good surprises and a dozen of challenging fights, but still... you get some unbalanced gear there, which could make your following battles in DAO even too easy.

a separate team works on the dlc from the original game and the expansion.distinguetraces wrote...

While I enjoy the little downloads, "just don't buy it then" doesn't really apply here. Producing DLC in small packets does mean taking limited work-hours away from fuller expansions.
I still like the pleasure of having a little bit of extra game more frequently.

2) If you want ti save uo for an expansion, then do so, and buy this one instead.
3) Bioware has several teams now. This means they have people working on dlc, other people working on the expansion(s) for the game, and yet again other people working on other stuff - such as the sequel to Dragon Age. (a very small team probably...)

And we are getting an expansion - woot!
If anyone thinks that the DLC is really appallingly bad for DLC needs to go look at the DLC for Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Now there are games that have truely TERRIBLE waste of money and bandwidth DLCs.
Funny for how much I like both those games I often find myself pointing to them for examples of what NOT to do with an RPG. lol.

Plus you manage to get a very nice suit of armor that feels "right" on Alistair (Better looking and more regal than the Dragonbone plate I always give him in my playthroughs) as well as a famous weapon described in Gaider's books.
Speaking which, that weapon is always RED STEEL when I find it in RtO, whereas in the books, it is clearly referred to as being made out of DRAGONBONE.
Thankfully, you can fix this by selling it to the Warden's Keep merchant and buying it back, where it changes to Dragonbone. Still, I thought that was sloppy.

Anyways like a lot of people are saying if you don't like the DLC's then don't get them plain n simple. I feel they are definitely worth it. Like someone else said $5 to me is 2 starbucks fraps in a day which I really don't need anyways (their too adicting anyways, but so is DA:O) lmao.
If you enjoy the DLC's then keep buying/downloading them, your showing Bioware that hey we enjoy these, we appreciate you adding more to an already wonderful game, thank you n keep them coming please.
You can't please everyone but thankfully there are some people that do appreciate the extra's that add to the game
