That's pretty foul, yes.  But they do black it out. Maybe Morrigan went ahead with knocking him out, as he requested. I know it's supposed to be hot, but I found that scene really creepy.  Beyond that, Morrigan looked nice with my pretty blond human male (I hated the woman's ending, so I made 2 men instead - they have it a lot easier, imo)  - but when I tried to pair her with my cute elf man, it was just weird. He looked like a little boy.   I didn't keep the save.

I always thought the PC-Alistair relationship was an Samwise-Frodo relationship [respectively.] Alistair's the real hero, he's got all the great lines, and if the powers that be didn't make him so ineffectual, he would have zero need for the PC who likely wouldn't exist at all.

Agreed. I find it offensive that in the Darkspawn Expansion thing, they make it sound like the world would just crumble without our mute character. Alistair could probably do a better job on his own because he would realize he was Ferelden's only hope and rise to the occasion. Plus our character doesn't have the gift of persuasion i.e. mute. Alistair could just go to each place and give a big inspiring speech like before the fight in Denerim at the end of DA:O and unite everyone without having to solve all their problems.
