That helped me with my combat skills a lot in ME1.

Oooh! I like your ideas! Fighting in the Skyllian Blitz as a flashback would be EPIC! I'd love to be able to see into Shepard's past! Oh DAMN you're a genius!SpiritDan wrote...
I'd like to visit Shepards past and play through the battle that made him famous. Like a Sole Survivor/Ruthless/War Hero story, yeah it will end in a certain way but it would be cool to play a younger Shepard. Plus it would bring us closer to our character, could even be a weird flash back type thing.
Also being able to visit where you grew up, like earth or the colony that was attacked. For spacer you could go see your mum or something? That way we could have a good peice of dlc that lasts a while, I would just like to see Shepards past for myself so I could make some choices and customize my experience further!
And more places from ME1 to visit in ME2!

I've beaten the game on Insanity with one of each class. They should start adding star systems and giving each one extended N7 missions... like the MSV Strontius Mule style. Like, you go somewhere and kill everything, then find info about somewhere else you can kill everything, which finally leads you somewhere else where you can shoot everything. It would be glorious.

Quests that gives some reason to go back to specific areas. It sucks that once you beat an area, you leave and don't see the outcome i.e. the apartment area in Omega.
More weapons...especially SMGs, which I'm 100% they are going to do.
The ability to respec teammates.
Repeatable colossum-style (Pinnacle Station) DLC to earn $$$, which is pretty short in ME2.

- A new section of Omega: a gladiatorial arena where you get to play Gears of War style Horde modes against craptonnes of increasingly difficult to kill enemies. The engine could easily do it. Also throw up some leaderboards to link it to the Social Network so we can all observe and admire.
- A cure for Thane - organ transplants cannot be THAT hard considering Cerberus REBUILT Shepard.
- More camaraderie with your team, in all forms: More amusing dialog in combat, more random interaction between them when on missions, more inane rubbish to talk to them about when on the Normandy. More post Suicide Mission conversations, etc.
- The ability to actually go through with Jacob's idea and have a mission where you just all go out and get completely blitzed in a bar to celebrate your victory or to toast fallen comrades.
- More things to do post suicide mission with your romantic interest - maybe 8 or so places to go FOR EACH potential partner, and do something fun - for "dates" if you like. GTA4 had minigames to do, and whilst I'd prefer just conversational sections where you talk about each other's lives, mini games could help make it interesting.
- EPISODIC CONTENT dealing with the aftermath of the Suicide Mission. Like an extra few hours play each, spanning the time it takes for ME3 to come out. So maybe 3 or so episodes?
- Finally, and most importantly: the theme from the lower level of Afterlife to be available on Shepards MP3 player in his quarters. That music is epic.

*Lots more "N7" side missions, but this time have them feature interactive story elements, characters and interaction so we get a better idea of what's going on and actually care about doing the missions.
*More weapon varieties, SMG's in particular. As long as they can make each weapon unique from the others I'm for it, I don't want it like ME1 where there was 50 billion different weapons but they all worked exactly the same just had different paint jobs.
*More N7 armor pieces and casual clothes (and the option to custom color the casual outfits)
*A place to buy and sell resources, everyone always ends up with way more eezo than they need and not nearly enough platinum. This would solve that and give you a means to get extra credits, simply sell excess resources for cash.
*A place for repeatable arena/survival style combat, something like Pinnacle Station. The combat is so fun and smooth in ME2 I find myself wishing there were more missions to go do just so I could shoot something again.
*More "main story" content after the Suicide mission, something that might bridge the story to ME3, set up new enemies that'll return or something, or even just some more conversations post-suicide mission with the crew would be nice.

-way to respec squadmates
-another slot for a bonus power on both Shep and squadmates (you decide what extra powers teammates get)
-way to sell excess minerals
-fix the problem of always flying away when you want to go back to the Normandy while on a planet.
-fix the helmet issue
-customizable squadmate armors (piece by piece, like Shep)
-more armor, guns, missions, etc.

* Instead of just reskins, new character (squad) models w/environmental or armor protection to cycle through
* Bring back toggle helmet
* more missions that explore the various organizations operating in both council and terminus space.
* Perhaps a mini-campaign involving missions for/with/against Aria
* more/expanded decks on normandy
* expanded hub stations Omega/Ilium/Citadel
I enjoyed how ME1 had everyone had environmental protection. A pet peeve in ME2 is fighting along side lightly dressed squad members with nothing but an oxygen mask. Its fine for on the ship / space stations but was really out of place in some sequences.

*More guns (not too many, maybe two or three more per class)
*The ability to interchange parts from the different DLC armors with each other and the N7 armor
*More boots-on-the-ground type worlds
More areas on the Citadel and Omega. I miss the big zones from the Citadel
*Helmet toggle. Please, oh pretty please, a helmet toggle feature

Edit : -A bunch of cool stuff-
Also, more Quarians!
Don't want to quote the wall of text, but I liked all of it. I'd be happy to pay for that, though it sounds more like a full expansion than a DLC. Which would be great, love some expac action.

Some way to convert your resources into cash. I ended up with WAAY too many resources but was completely strapped for cash. Which is a weird turn-around when in ME1 I was a multi-millionaire. By the end of the game I had only a few hundred credits and literally hundreds of thousands of units of resources. Silly!
Speaking of mining, make it more interesting, quicker, and not such a drag! Bigger, badder upgrades for the sensor array that show 'hot spots' that I have to find the centre of etc.
Gambling! Quasar? NO!? c'mon, the only thing I saw was the varren game which was pure flip-of-the-coin luck, and after losing 750 credits I never looked at it again.
Dance lessons and tournaments. Shepard's dancing has gotten even worse in ME2, he could do with some lessons and a tourney/quest to then show off his new founds skills! Spectres need to let loose! The drinking and dancing already present shows this already, expand it!
One or two LARGE hub planets. All the hubs seemed rather limited this time around. With a few recurring attactions, intermittently opening quests etc.
Upgraded pole-dancers. For maiden Asari that live a thousand years, you would have thought those in Afterlife would have taken a little bit of time to learn to pole dance properly! Struting around and bending over occasionally is NOT pole dacning!
Blasto: The first Hanar Spectre. Feature length movie! WEEEE!!!
More armour customisation (the DLC armours are pathetic in their lack of customisability, I only have the ones I do because I horde things), more patterns, peices, looks, cool visors (that don't block my eyes/face) etc.
More interaction with the Alliance. I can't believe that just because I'm technically allied with Cerberus, they'd ignore my skills, crew and ship entirely. Even for just standard out-sourced contract work.
Presidium! That place was pretty, if not the embassies, then another section. Its obviously pretty big. Why can't I go up close to the (what looks like) Prothean Beacon monument?
Achievement Bonuses! Those were really cool and gave a reason to get the achievements other than for for some meta-game. 1 achievement bonus (that I know of) is NOT sufficient.

-Looking forward to Kasumi, hope she has a recruitment mission and a loyalty quest. Zaeed was a nice change of pace, but I'd like to see this character work similar to the others.
-I expect more varied armor and weapons will be offered on occasion.
-As others have said, a market for trading credits and resources would be fantastic.
-My biggest hope is for something close to an expansion. It would take place after the completion of the final mission, would raise the level cap to 35 or something, introduce new gear, and set up the events in ME 3.
-N7 missions set in the Local Cluster. Visit Mars or Jump Zero, that kind of thing.
